  6. Ok, interesting to hear...so the heat soaked KK radiates enough to keep a constant temp from top to bottom?

Dennis, everyone keeps saying I need to call to speak with you.....there is a reason I've been avoiding you! LOL I feel like I'm coming down with the KK bug!
  12. Thanks Tinyfish! Its really impressive the cooking estate you get on the grill...
  13. Ok, I'm spending way more time on this KK board then I should be!! In the name of 'research'....one of the features of a KK is cooking real estate, because of the ability to cook on multiple levels. Is this practical? For example, say I have the 23" and want to cook ribs on the lower grate and main level grate, does this work? Isn't the temp on the lower grate going to be higher because it is closer to the fire? Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I'm curious! Thanks!

Thank you all! Aashni (my daughter) loves cooking. Her Nutella apple pie has been a big hit and if you ever get a chance you should try it, its worth the effort! She and I have been working on a recipe that she wants to video this weekend if the weather cooperates, and I think this one will be particularly exciting for CKreef and anyone else with a sweet tooth! Stay tuned! Tony b - I'm just browsing here to learn more, but I was thinking the same thing yesterday. In fact, I think I have my colour picked out. The difficult part is holding back until it all makes sense for me to pull the trigger! LOL Since I'm having a proud moment, here she is cooking up her own birthday dinner! https://youtu.be/pbNeVCTSYm8 ok, i'll stop now I promise
  17. Congratulations!! A real beauty and what a wonderful home you have for it

Hi everyone, Some of you I already know from KG and others I hope to get to know. I'm just peeking in, don't mind me! I've had a secret (not so much anymore I suppose) interest in KK's so I've joined the site to learn more. The bug was planted when CKreef posted a picture of a tile that my 8 year old has fallen in love with!! Even at 8, she loves to cook and is turning into quite a grill master. Here is the tile that my 8 year old daughter loves Look forward to learning more. Thanks, Rak
