  1. MacKenzie or any other baker.... I don't have bread flour, would AP be ok to use? And whats the difference?

  3. I do! I'm a real newbie when it comes to baking, but the one thing I learned (especially with my pizza dough) is how much better I can control ratios when using weight rather than volume.

  6. Thanks for picking me and driving me out to see those KK's!! It was a little chilly outside so Ryan ran inside to warm himself up while I was outside admiring the KK's! Everyone is right, pictures don't do them justice, they really are incredibly beautiful (works of art) and the engineering / construction is just incredible. Dennis is a great guy and these are amazing creations, I can see why he takes such pride in them. PS - Ryan is lucky, I did try to take the 23" with me, but I couldn't fit it under my jacket

  8. Thank you both. Tony - Feeling much better thanks! Today was a pizza day, but only had 2 small slices, but still, it hit the spot! I've always said, cooking is therapy for me! Charles - I like the idea of the coffee beans, although lately, i've been using expresso as part of my rubs...so coffee smoke is probably redundant. Rak

    Thanks Benton! That's a great design, if I were to do that with my current grill I would burn the bottom, and as we know...no one likes a burned bottom. So what temperature do you cook your pizza at?

    These pies look great and looking at the pictures, I have a question....When I make pizza on my Kamado (errrmm, sorry, its not a KK...yet!), I have a defector then a small air gap to create convection, and then the pizza stone. As I'm looking at these delicious pictures, I notice some don't have a deflector...Would someone mind sharing with me their KK pizza setup? Thanks!

  19. I even called Ryan from the hospital to apologize for not being able to help uncrate! I really wish I could go, but I'm not allowed to drive until January, let alone life anything...this sucks!! Sorry bro.
