Or just tell me what you want and I will adjust to what we all want. there are 60 boxes on a full load. Just for everybody's information I live in Fremont Calif. about half way between Oakland and San Jose. ok guys let me know what you think.
  3. Thanks big L I will probably order a mixture. According to what everyone wants.
  4. what do you think we should order? half co co and half coffee? Full pallet? I haven't had a chance to use either of them but still want to order, just from all the good press it gets here at the forum. Plus I know Dennis makes great stuff. any ideas out there?
  5. I would also be interested I live in Fremont, not to far of a drive
  6. Hello Pale Rider; Thanks for posting the pictures of your new cabinet. Everything looks beautiful. I was so impressed with the construction of the side shelves and the pictures Dennis posted of your cabinet, I now have one being built for myself with a few modifications of course ( don't want to be a copy cat) lol. That must have been one heck of a crate when it arrived. alas my BB 32 is languishing in the garage still. every time I pass it by i hear "light me up". Just got all the rotisRee stuff today. I really enjoy reading all the posts here on the forum. I guess this must be social media? Anyway everybody have a great weekend
  7. Man that chicken looks soooo good. I will be getting all the rotisReee stuiff today by UPS. now all I need is a good motor and I'll be ready to try some for myself. I have spent the past week buying stuff that I will need to start grilling. I think I have gained 5lbs. just looking at all the wonderful food pictures you guys and gals have sent in. Just about all looks like gourmet chefs at work. I hope I can come close to what I see here. Aloha for now everybody
  8. those shrimp look Delicious.I hope I can just go out and make dinner on the spur of the moment like you guys do. I bought two side shelves when I bought my kk32. I gotta tell you; Dennis is a first class woodworker. the workman ship on the side shelves is superb. The attention to detail is amazing. I liked it so much I am having him build me a teak cabinet. here is a picture of the underside of the shelf to show the workmen ship.
  9. That does it I have to go out and get some pie. Looks great and bet it tastes better. I think after reading the forum for the past week or so I bet not too many KK owners use they're ovens anymore. I for one haven't used my oven since i moved into this house 27 years ago, and not because i use my grill. I have just been eating out every meal, pretty pathetic huh? but that is all about to change now that I have my BB32. I'm building an outdoor kitchen on my patio. Happy grilling everybody. And GOD bless AMERICA!!
  10. Man I'm glad I just came home from breakfast or else I would be out buying me some tri tip. That looks sooo tasty and I bet taste even better. I love all these great photos of the food you guys cook. keepem coming guys.
  11. If anybody in the San Francisco Bay Area would like to see a KK up close and personal, give me a shout., and we can arrange something.
  12. Thank you ,hope it's soon I'm still getting it ready.
  13. I had my friend help me roll mine off inside the garage this morning.l will 73 in a couple weeks and things just seem to be getting heavier and more heavy, didn't want to take a chance of it getting away from me. Took 2 huge trash cans to hold all the wrapping. Well all happy grilling and have a nice long weekend. Say a prayer for our fallen heroes .
  14. you guys are too funny! I was married once and have to say it was the best time of my life, with the kids and all. been single now for almost 30 years; one of the reasons I could get my BB32. Sorry to say its still out in the garage. Tomorrow my friend is coming over and we are going to get it off the pallet. I'll probably have wait a couple weeks before I can move it out back to the patio. have to remove some fence ext. also have to get ok from my neighbor to go across his back yard. gotta take down 2 fences. curses on these zero lot line homes. i'm thinking of getting the propane burner so I can preheat my BB in hurry. any comments on that? I have question about that box underneath the komodo is secured to the pallet, or can i tilt the BB and remove the box. Seems to me if I scooch it off the box it may damage some of the edge tile at the bottom. any help on the subject will be muchly appreciated. hope all is well with guys.
  15. The delivery people called me and told me they would bring my KK 32" between 10 and 2 the next day. Guess what they showed up at 8:30 the next morning and I wasn't at home. But luckily I have a camera on my front porch and it notified me that somebody was at the front door my house so I was able to catch them before they pulled out of the track homes I live in. So it's in the garage still on the pallet but unboxed and all the accessories are all over the the place. Now I just had to get somebody to help me get it off the pallet down the ramp and into my garage. I can't believe how beautiful this thing is. You guys were right all along pictures don't do them justice.
  16. Hello Wilbur; I like your style way over kill but fast. Think I'll look into that lol. I just went to the harbor freight web site and found the torch, hey doesn't look to bad. Anybody out there have a looft lighter? I went to Amazon and they have all different prices whats with that? oh well I don't even have my KK yet Its in San Jose someplace; just waiting for the call to schedule delivery. Looks like I will have my first cook outside my garage door. I'm going to have to take down my fence to get into my back yard. I live on a zero lot line house so no gate to back yard. Just think of all the looks and questions when I fire that baby up in my driveway. It would sure be nice if I get in time for Memorial day.
  17. Oh man that squash looked so good. I have problem though, every time I come to the forum I get really hungry and have to go out and get something to eat. I read a lot about chicken wings so guess I'll to try and make some as soon as my KK arrives. oh guys and gals have a great day and a good long weekend and GOD bless all the men and women who gave they're lives for us and our country on this memorial day weekend; also a shout out to all you men and women who are protecting us past and present.
  18. WOW!!!!!! I have to go out and get something sweet to eat after all those beautiful pictures, my mouth is watering. I think my BB32 will be here in the next couple days. guess I''l have to read up and try some baking LOL. This from a guy who hasn't used his oven in 27 Years. Ok all have a great week
  19. Heck I just hope I'm still around in 10 years lol. And still using my KK.
  20. Heylo Dennis I like the picture of the KK 23. It's the classic iconic image of a KK with its tear drop shape It also shows off a lot the stainless steel. Plus all that nice " smoke" coming out of it. The silk screens nice but I have admit that with all that's going on around the 23 it's the thing that stands out the most, my eyes was drawn to it right off. Hope this helps Bruce
  21. Thanks guys for the info. I was just watching a commercial for the treager grill, I have one but haven't used it, probably won't after receiving my KK. they showed jerky, has anyone done beef jerky on the KK? If any receipts
  22. Hello Shuley welcome and congratulations, I am a newbie also, in fact my KK 32 is going to be delivered sometime next week, I have been on pins and needles for the past 2 weeks. I bet I have been to the website and forum over a hundred looking at pictures and reading all I could. I was on the fence but decided to "go for it" my excuse is its my birthday present to myself lol. I decided to add all the extras I could. Just about everything except the propane burner. I am now looking to having Dennis build me a teak cabinet we have discussed it over the phone. I really like this forum and will post pictures as I uncrate my Komodo. Looking forward to your pics and post in the future. I know you guys said the burn was duck soup, but when I read that the tiles may come lose that scared me. I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Quick question should I do the burn in before cooking anything? Have a great weekend all.
