Well done! But, inquiring minds like ours would like to know - what's the adult beverage sitting by the grill? From here, it looks like Bourbon.

Glad to see everything is intact! I hope that I toned down the house lamb seasoning enough for Dee. It still has some kick to it, but no where near my regular recipe. Wanted you to try the Yardbird, as it's one of my favs for chicken (aka Yardbird, aka chook). If you like it, I'll send a full jar next time. The Lane's is their latest collaboration rub. You seem to like things on the sweeter side, so I thought this might be right up your alley. And I know you're gonna like the 2 Dizzy Pigs. Let me know what you think about the BBQ 3000. You're my guinea pig, as I've never used it before. It was a bonus gift in my last Penzey's buy, so I thought that I'd share the bounty.

Well, it's here. I just par-boiled 2 russets in heavily salted water to cut into wedges as the 1st test cook in the new fryer. Cooling now before slicing. Will spray them up with oil and seasoning salt and into the fryer for supper. Your post has given me a thought. I think that I have hoarded away a bag of frozen hush puppies that might get tossed in, too.

Eager beaver now. Want to play with my new toy!

Aussie, you package has passed through the processing facility in Perth on the 18th, so it should be arriving any day now.

Awesome looking burgers! I'm with Dennis, shouldn't be looking at food porn just before dinnertime!
-
Love lamb and that one looks awesome!

Can't wait - that lemon myrtle & pepperberry combo sounds amazing. Love the lemon myrtle that I got from Outback Pride.

Update, the AirFryer is supposed to arrive now on Friday, so I should get to play with it over the weekend. I'm thinking sous vide beef tenderloins and baked spuds in the new fryer.
-
Indeed it is!

But, the 1st assumption to that is, you gotta like beets. I will eat them on rare occasion, but not a big fan, especially the pickled ones. Bad memories from childhood and Mom putting the pickled ones on the salad.

Please let us know if he does answer.

Wish that I had more news for you, but sorry, no. Some folks come and go, but I haven't heard anything from him in years. I miss a lot of the old friends on the old Forum - I learned so much from them. Back in it's heyday, it was something special. But now, we have here, which is even more amazing - just as great members, but without RJ running roughshod over the posts and banning folks left and right. Glad to have you back in the Family, Sanny!
-
Fingers crossed! It should arrive sometime at the end of this week or early next (free shipping, but not PRIME).

Indeed, pictures, please!

You will have to go Plan B on new Johnnyboy Jammies. We haven't heard from him in a very long time. I might have gotten one of the last ones he made and I've had mine for a good 5 years now. Dennis makes similar covers (sunbrella) for the KK now. I'm sure it would fit on the Mexi-K but might be a bit floppy in spots, given the difference in shape.

BINGO! Open the top vent first to exhaust the combustible gasses. Never melted anything, but did singe the hair off my right arm on the old POSK once. Only other time I've done it was on a BGE at a friends house. That one was a near miss for sure. Wasn't it posted on the old POSK Forum? I remember he rigged it up with pulleys and rope to open the lid so he was at a safe distance when he filmed it. It was impressive! The Naked Whiz has a great post on it, too. http://www.nakedwhiz.com/flash.htm

Welcome back, Sanny. We've missed you, too! Holy Cow, the old Mexi-K POSK is still working?? INCREDIBLE!

Great minds, Aussie. Did burgers last night, too. My buddy came over to help with beermaking and I had asked him what could I make him for dinner and he said, "just a plain old cheeseburger." So, that's what he got. You're right MacKenzie, I have to admit that they were damned tasty. Plus, the weather here is finally turned over and we got to have dinner on the deck. Nice day, all around. @Aussie Ora Never seen beets on a burger before - pretty funky to me!

OK, MacKenzie, I have you to blame. I just ordered the air fryer. Got the refurbished model on Amazon - $90. We'll see if it replaces my Fry Daddy.
