What? No wood chips sticking out the sides? No curvy bent pieces? No oval shaped holes down the middle? :D

Don't forget the "white fuzz of quality" found in some other brands :)

Looks great Dennis! Nice job on the customization of your extruders - it really does pay to be a serial tinkerer!

So educate me, now that you have these very nice long uniform pieces coming from the extruder, what is the process to break them down into uniform short length pieces ready for the firebox? Is it as simple as eyeing it up and hitting with a sharp object or is there some kind of cutting press? Just curious and thanks! 8)

The extruders I purchased actually have a cutter with a photoelectric sensors but I'm guessing well be doing it manually.. To much to go wrong with the sensors.. we'll see.

When the charcoal comes out of the extruder it can be easily broken by just lowering the charcoal support..

Dennis, please add me to your list of customers once the supply is rolling.

Also, any other NorCal customers, please add me to a list of possible "poolers" to buy in together.

Thanks!

Are there any KK owners in the greater Baltimore/Washington DC metro area who are interested in a pallet share? I want some of this charcoal! Paswesley

Great local KK guys! Any others in the area interested in a share? With these rising gas prices, there is no telling what the FOB charge will be from the west coast.

Yo' Dennis ... any update on the prospect for getting the coal flowing? I understand the long-pole is with the float from there to here. An update would be most appreciated!

Thanks!
