Meat on a Stick - It's Universal!

All major cuisines have some sort of "meat on a stick" in their repertoire. Greece is no different - ate a lot of souvlaki while on holiday there. This is a tiny shack of a place next to the beach on Crete - only choice on the menu - chicken or pork. Came with fries and the ubiquitous Greek salad! Oh, and some OK Greek beer (Alpha).

@MacKenzie - Oh my, what's that on the plate with the fries?? 

Why, I do believe that it's Greek ketchup!

Tony, theirs even stayed on the stick. Dinner sure looks interesting and just look at the water too.  

That **** stuff beside the fries is everywhere.  At least it is not touching the fries.

I have visited Crete several times while in the Navy. A very nice port visit. I remember the beautiful water also.

If being in Crete and doing how the Crete's do means ketchup - I would do ketchup for that view. But that's about what it would take for me to stoop down to ketchup on fries - LOL

Crete beautiful , I suppose we all the same here , as soon as we open our eyes in the morning we only thinking one thing . Lunch . ! Enjoy Tony looks awesome .
