Great weekend of ribs ,bacon and icecream

Cooked up some nice pork ribs with a pineapple dusting. .they fell apart... Next up the bacon gave it some pineapple rub lol seem to have a lot of this but I reckon it tastes so great..on it goes.over apple wood..looking good..and sliced..I ate some and vacuumed sealed the rest..scored this upright static freezer from work it has coil shelves for even cooling .finally have more freezer space than my bottom draw on the fridge..Bacon in the freezer..now that I have freezer space I can put my cusiant ice cream maker to work .choc chip peppermint. ..put it in the freezer. And before tony asks I was thinking about throwing some pineapple head in but forgot I reckon it would of topped it of .Next time lol.

Nice score on that freezer! I've never seen one with cooling coils in each shelf like that! Bet it freezes that ice cream in nothing flat!

I posted what I was up to just now, and see you enjoy “accidentally” opening that one extra bottle also (why they are always TOP shelf is beyond me - such a waste!). I am surprised how functional I am today to be honest - I must have eaten just enough and drunk a heap of water at some point. Or I may just still be drunk!

It's a commercial freezer the coils alow for even cooling which is kewl. https://www.bromic.com/refrigeration/bromic-solid-door-freezer-300l.html. these go close to two grand new .I scored this one for $150.00 from my work plus they let me use a truck to get it home .it's in great Nick . Plus I got to test it the condenser runs smoothly and it passes the electrical test the only thing I need to do is replace the LCD temp gauge that has blown hence the thermometer

That’s pretty cool Aussie or I guess I should say that’s pretty frozen. I’d like to have one of those my  refrigerator freezer is stuffed with stuff lol

Hear ya, Bruce. My old side-by-side in the kitchen didn't have hardly any actual freezer space after the ice maker took up 1/3 of that side, so I went out a long time ago and got a cheap chest freezer for the basement. That's my stash for when I hit up Costco or when my local supermarket has a good sale on meats. It was a great investment coupled with the Food Saver.

I was going to get a chest freezer .but was lucky to get this ,plus I like the upright easier to get what I want

Yeah, I have to periodically go "diving" into the bottom of the chest freezer to see what's migrated down there over time. I just did a turn over this past week after coming home with a lot of meat from the market.
