  2. grills have arrived, great packaging Dennis! Teak table crate was smashed from the bottom, but table is fine!! used a skid steer to get it to the back out door kitchen, the smaller one is still crated as the deck is being built. It took 4 of use just to get it off that little box in the middle of the crate, unbelievable build quality seeing these things for the first time is impressive! getting ready to burn in today so that we can cook tomorrow for Father's Day. Quick question would rain affect the burn in process if I have it rolled out from under the gazebo? High-class problem do I burn with coffee wood charcoal or coconut charcoal...this is gonna be great! thanks Again Dennis! oh where do I find the grate...for the bottom? Is that in the box with the wrench? cheers, BJ

  9. I agree original orders first. They just sent an update tonight. Sounds like all single probe kickstarter orders will be fulfilled 1st. Then indigo single probe orders. Then meter block people will get the probes to be sent the block at a future time. The problem is i spent big bucks and ordered a 4 probe meter block combination. To fulfill my 4 probe part they have to put off 3 other customers. I image they want to make 4 customers happy before my one order even though I got in before they met their target goal. (indigo people were about $4 million past original goal) This is probably the first and last kickstarter I'll ever do. They are at least 2 years behind schedule and screwing the original backers.

  10. @MacKenzie - those are some kind of good looking beans. Like @Aussie Ora, I've never heard of turtle beans. Down here in these parts we call those black beans. No matter, they are delicious, especially with some ham hock and jalapeño. I wish I had a big bowl of those turtle beams right now. Kudos!

  14. Speaking of wildlife, I was checking my garden out about 6 AM this morning. Beautiful sunny, windless, quiet time then all of a sudden I heard the rustle of wings and wind directly about my head. 12 geese flew over about 25 feet in the air and only made 1 honking sound. It was beautiful and I have only the recorded memory in my head for proof.

  15. How the hell I missed this thread is beyond me. Glad to see someone got something for their money but ............ I got into this kickstarter at just 60k ordering a meter block. Now they are up around half a million or more. Towards the end they listed it on indigo. Now they say they will fulfill indigo orders before meter block orders. I know there is a "delay" with the meter block but if they process the indigo orders first that puts 10's of thousands of orders in front of me. Just pisses me off. Still happy for you @tony b and glad to hear it's working reasonably well.
