  2. Hi guys, You might remember me from my first welcome message about two years ago, I have to admit that I went a bit silent on you (unplanned - of course), I will try to be more active in the future So, in my first post I indicated that a 42" will be following the 32" I bought. And that is still the plan. However, as I was browsing Dennis's website I came across a Bronze Tile (yes, that's right... Tiles this time 💪) 22" Beast Table Top, accompanied by one of Dennis' teak cabinets. I couldn't resist. Order placed with Dennis last week and if everything goes as planned it will be on its way to Hamburg by the end of February. Wondering how long this is going to take with the Huthis pretty much blocking Suez Canal though... Can't wait for it 😍 @DennisLinkletter thanks for your patience and support with my countless questions! Great customer care

  3. A wealthy husband and his wife were having dinner at an upscale restaurant when this absolutely stunning young woman comes over to their table, gives the husband a big open mouthed kiss, then says she'll see him later and walks away. The wife glares at her husband and says, "Who the hell was that?" "Oh," replies the husband, "she's my mistress." Well, that's the last straw," says the wife. "I've had enough, I want a divorce! "I can understand that," replies her husband, "but remember, if we get a divorce it will mean no more shopping trips to Paris, no more wintering in Barbados, no more summers in Tuscany, no more BMW in the garage and no more yacht club. But the decision is yours." Just then, a mutual friend enters the restaurant with a gorgeous babe on his arm. "Who's that woman with George?" asks the wife. "That's his mistress," says her husband. “Ours is prettier," she replies.

  4. Thank you! I pour the marinade liquid into a bowl and baste it a few times while it’s spinning.

  5. I hear yah! We broke a record here yesterday from all the way back to 1911! It was 55F! I was outside without a jacket! We'll see if the "rodent" is correct and we'll get an early spring??

  6. After the multi-week below freezing period last month, we have been rewarded with several days in a row of high 50°s - low 60°sF temperatures. I waited a week for yesterday's unseasonably warm weather to unwrap the wood oven to make pizza. A couple of 14" New York style pizzas, one artichoke, mushroom, and goat cheese; the other pepperoni, mushroom, and black olive. Today's job is to clean and re-cover the oven and store the associated paraphernalia for a few more weeks until Spring. Oh well, the pizze were good!

  7. I was too hungry. And greedy. Grilled the flat iron steak without turning it into a meatzza. Cooked it more than I would like but it was still moist and husband liked it.

  8. I had to stop eating my bread as i need to lose a few pounds, my BP started going crazy. It's under control now but i need to eat in moderation for awhile lol But I'm still baking it for friends and family. I've started making a whole grain sourdough that people really like

  9. It's a little squished but I'd eat it. Still looks yummy I make sourdough bread 3 times a week, every week. I give one loaf out of the 2 to an elderly couple that lives nearby. But my go to recipe is simply this...and David, I know you know how to make bread. Not teaching here, just sharing: 550gr water (warm) 300gr starter 800gr flour (I use bread flour from Costco) 20gr salt 30gr olive oil If it's cold outside....real cold...I use 1 tsp of yeast. Mix it all up in a large bowl and let it rise for 2 hours (my oven has a proof setting) Turn it over in the original bowl several times adding a small amount of flour.... about what you'd put on the counter to keep it from sticking Now stick it in the fridge for a day. Covered Turn it over several times and add a little flour 2 or 3 times. Fold it on itself several times. Divide it into two bread pans (greased or Pam'ed) and let it rise to the top of the pan. You can put a fine mist of water on top and sprinkle flour on top with a strainer.... light coat. Not necessary but crisper crust will result. Bake at 400 for 35 minutes. The end. I don't make "ears", or anything fancy anymore...just bake it in a pan and call it done.

  10. When we see the Kansas City Chiefs playing in freezing weather we forget that they just have a few hours of work in the snow. People like @jonj have to live with it day in day out. Brrrrrrr. Good luck tonight in Baltimore! Cooked mackerel on the 23 for lunch yesterday. Indonesian spicing, including coconut paste. It stuck at first but I left it for 3 minutes before moving and all was good. I then cooked this matambre (piece of veal skirt) low and slow on the KK before smothering it in sauce and cheese and putting it under the grill to make a Meatzza. No carb yumminess!
