  1. Freak me out? Time to time? Are ya kidding me? I'm freaked out by all your great cooks. The head on that fish just weirded me out! I get freaked out all the time. Weirded out is a whole different matter!
  2. I love grilled avocados and that's one fine money shot. Thanks to you, I'm serving grilled avocados tomorrow evening to some dinner guests I'm having over. I'm doing smoked salmon and I just added grilled avocados to the menu! Thanks! Kudos to ya on a lot of fronts.
  3. Certainly looks like sweetness on a plate to me! Very nice. Kudos!

  10. A former Professor and very dear friend spoke 7 languages with great alacrity and read another 5. He collected palindromes is all of them. Lloyd is an amazing man with an incredible brain.
  11. And the sum of 2332 and 3223 is 5555 which is itself a numerical palindrome. Madam, I'm Adam.
  12. That wins the Oscar for Best Leftovers in a Starring Role! Very nice, @MacKenzie! Kudos.
  13. Charles, it was really good coffee. But I'm wondering a couple of things about that Cat Crap Coffee. First, who noticed that the beans came out of the cat unscathed? Second, who followed the cat around collecting cat crap for beans? Third, who was the poor schmuck that got rookied into taking the first drink of Cat Crap Coffee by his "friends"? You know nobody would in on the joke was gonna go first!
  14. Anyone notice that there are two numerical palindromes above? 2332 and 3223. Either way, it's meant to be! Sorry Crew. It's just the way this old engineer's mind works. Tony will explain.
  15. Kevin, years ago I had a good friend who is addicted to all things coffee introduce me to what I call Cat Crap Coffee. You know it made fro beans that are eaten by a specific cat and they pass through and are excreted in the spoor. Then some poor fool has to gather the cat crap and process the beans. I found it to be a very nice cup of Joe, but nothing that I'd spend the kind of money to have every day. My friend calls me a Philistine to this day. My go to coffee os Dunkin Donuts. Years ago in grad school, a bunch of us went looking for the perfect cup of coffee from all kinds of available beans ... Starbucks, Community, etc. Starbucks didn't even make the Top Five. Dunkin Donuts was the runaway winner, followed bya chicory coffe from NOLA, then Seattle's Best. It was a blind tasting. I brewed all the coffee in my Bunn Coffee Maker. Being a bunch of Statistics Geek, we twisted the data every way we could. Dunkin Dinuts coffee really won going away. Just plain old Dunkin Donuts. Who woulda thunk it?
  16. There's always more than 1 way to skin a cat!
  17. What a great series of pics! Takes me back a couple of years. Very fond memories. Congrats!
  18. I'm with @5698k and @bosco. I think the perfect 2 KK combo is a KK BB 32 and the 23 Ultimate. Hard to beat that combo. You've got a ton of flexibility.
  19. Congrats on coming over to the dark side! Those 23 Ultimates are absolutely gorgeous. I've thought about getting one, but 3 KKs might be a bit much, even for me! You're gonna absolutely love your new KK! Again, congrats? Inquiring minds wanna know .... Name of your new KK and what's the first cook gonna be?
  20. I like this plan, @twharton. This should work well. Can't wait to see the pics of this cook, especially the ribs and brisket! Oh, hey, I've been meaning to ask you. Tell me about that avatar. Intriguing.
  21. @twharton - great pictorial. It looks as if everyone had a great weekend. Your butt looks like it should have been a smash hit with every hungry stomach. That bark is simply killer! It's time for you to get a @Syzygies smoke pot. It will really change the way you look at laying smoke on a cook. Kudos to ya! How do you like that dual probe ThermaQ? I've got my eye on that when my iGrill2 craps out.
  22. Oh! Dadgummit all anyway! I just finished breakfast, saw these lucious chickens, and now I'm starving! Great hard birds. Kudos to you, @Steve M!
  23. That'll do! Wonderful bark on that butt. Kudos!
  24. Great bark on that brisket! Kudos.
  25. You're good to go with the cotter/hitch pins. Heres wishing your wife a speedy and unremarkable recovery!
