Looks dadgummed tasty from the seats here in OKC! Very nicely done. Kudos all over!
  4. TinyTony - Key Lime is one my top 5 desserts and it certai lay looks as if you've hit this one out of the park! Touch 'em all and take a bow 'cause this one is droolicious! Kudos!
  5. As I always say, bosceaux, welcome to The Addiction! You've got the fever. No cure! It only gets worse from here. Wait until you put your hands on a KK! Wait until you cook on a KK! Wait until you uncrate your very own KK! Wait until you begin to cook on your very own KK!
  6. MacKenzie, that's one sumptuous looking pizza. Please pass the crushed red peppers whilst I pop the top on another tall cold one and it's time to eat! And it's a feast for one and all! Kudos!
  7. Heck fire Tomy, maybe I can be the KK stocking distributor for Central North America! Open a showroom! The whole nine yards! Go big or go home!
  8. ckreef - nah, I'm not gonna stop at a mere #trifecta! Dennis, send me one of everything and two of most!
  9. Simply droolicious. Kudos!
  10. Congrats! You're goona be amazed by your BB 32". I know after quite some time with mine, I'm still amazed at how easy it cooks. You're in for a real treat with your new 32"!
  11. Tony, you've done it again! You've ruined my diet. I just got back from eating dinner and now I'm starving again after seeing your manicotti, I'm starving and headed to the fridge! Beautiful money shots and a gorgeous cook. Kudos!
  12. KKers, I'm kinda partial to the pebbles, I have two, but this bronze tile business is just a gorgeous way to dress a KK! I just might have to think about another KK .... Nah! But a 19" Free Standing Unit might be VERY tempting!
  13. Ok Poochie! Make certain you take plenty of pics and then post them here. We all live vicariously through these pics, so please take and post a ton of pics!
  14. bosceaux - for the 19" Hi-Cap the stand was extra. It is a stand the likes of which I'd never seen on a kamado, but then, isn't everything KK! Friend, here's the deal with respect to size. The 32" is a MASSIVE cooker. Bigger than anything you've ever imagined. I throw a lot of parties ranging from 8 to 25 people at a time. That's why I got TheBeast. About the only way you'll find a KK BB small is if you're doing commercial cooking for gatherings in the neighborhood of 50+. I could easily put 50% more on TheBeast and things would do just fine. The 23" Ultimate is, when all is said and done, a cooker that most people will never outgrow. I look at the amount of food that KKers here cook on their 23s and I'm amazed. It rivals anything you can get on a Big Joe, an XL BGE, or a Primo XL and then some. Heck, on my 19"Hi-Cap, Beauty!, I can cook a couple of butts for a nice sized party. While I don't own a 23" Ultimate, I have cooked on one and I can tell you that the 23" will handle 100% of everything I've seen you cook and a lot more. Look what ckreef does on his 16"! You know my motto quite well: better to have the size and not need it than to need it and can't get it. If you are truly thinking of a 19" Hi-Cap, get the 23" Ultimate. For you, as far as I know, the 32" would be overkill. I looks really impressive on the patio, but I really do think it would be overkill for you. That's just my opinion. But as usual, let Dennis be your guide.
  15. Welcome to the wonderful world of KK cooking and welcome to The Addiction! I absolutely love that brisket shot! Kudos to you. Like you, I have a KK BB 32" known as TheBeast. Mine is a black pebble. Yours looks as if it simply belongs right where it is. Congrats to you on a great looking KK!
  16. bosceaux - here is the post that shows Beauty! being unpacked. You'll get a good idea of everything that is available from deflectors to baking stones, to side tables. You'll also see the pebble finish of really gorgeous KK! http://komodokamadoforum.com/topic/5138-beauty-comes-home-to-chezchef/
  17. bosceaux - as Rob says, these are basic questions that we've all asked. Dennis is really the best person to answer them. He's the Guru of all Gurus for all things KK. He'll talk as long as you have questions as many times as you need to chat. I don't have the links handily available, but if you search for mt 19" Hi-Cap, Beauty! youll get a really nice view of the Autumn Gold Pebble finish.
  18. Serve yourself! What a great concept. Certainly makes things simpler. Now if you can only get the folks to prep their own food! That looks like a really nice new setup you have there. I'll say this, it certainly seems to cook a very tasty meal. Kudos on a fine cook!
  19. Poochie - you'll find that when you unpack your KK that Dennis has built into the packaging a very stout ramp. Use that ramp to roll your KK off the pallet and you can also use that ramp to get the KK up and onto that slab. Dennis has thought of everything!
  20. Poochie - I love your china pattern! I believe we have some of that same pattern sitting atop the refrigerator. I just hate doing dishes! That tuna steak is perfectly done and that money shot is beyond sumptuous! Big time kudos!
  21. Beautifully done, MacKenzie! Okay, Gang. Let's rally at MacKenzie's tomorrow morning in Nova Scotia around 8:00 AM local for bacon, eggs, home fries, and English Muffins. Ckreef can bring the peach preserves, I'll bring the coffee and Bailey's, who else is in? Thanks for the invite, MacKenzie. Can we get car service from the airport to Chez MacKenzie?
  22. Congrats, Poochie! I couldn't be happier for both you and Pale Rider. Now for some prosaic advice. Have you thought where you'll park your new KK when it arrives at your house? Where will you uncrate your KK? How will you move your new KK around, i.e. from the uncrating place to its permanent home? How will you move your KK from the front drive to the place of its uncrating? KKs are HEAVY and you probably aren't a big enough guy to be muscling your new KK around for any distance. Have you measured doorways to make certain that your new KK will fit through with plenty of room to spare? I had to move my KK BB 32", TheBeast, around the side of my house over my yard to get it to my patio. That required 2 sheets of 1/2" Oriented Strand Board (OSB). We had to buck that OSB quite some distance. I tipped my delivery guy quite handsomely for putting my pallets in my garage. He tried to refuse. I insisted. I won out. Have beer and some date certain for rewarding the guys who help you move your new KK. Rib eyes, baked potatoes, salad, etc makes a really nice reward after you've conditioned your new KK. These are just a few things to think about. I'm sure others will chime in and help out with advice to help you make this arrival, uncrating, and placement of your new KK an easy delivery!
  23. My drink of choice during the HOT Oklahoma summers is Leninade over crushed ice. I start early in the day to insure I stay well hydrated!
