  1. Yeah, that would be a nice add so that I could take out that ugly grout.

    Brunswick stew

    Anyone have any good recipies????
  3. Any chance of shipping some to GA? I'll pay shipping (just don't tell the feds since thats supposedly illegal).
  4. I grew up in Kingston (actually Hurley) 90 miles north of the City and it was very "country", had lots of corn fields and farms. Nice place to grow up. 7 or 8 ski slopes within an hours drive. Lots of places to pull off on a dirt road and have a kegger. The Catskills are very pretty in the fall when the leaves turn too. I loved the snow as a kid but don't miss it now.
  5. Sidetables look awesome. Can't wait for them to be available.
  6. Well you must be drunk a lot because you have ALWAYS written it that way. I've meant to pick on you before but just witheld.
  7. I think I actually got a call or email from Dennis before the forum or website was even up. Was obviously excited to help any way I could.
  8. Need to add a response for "Got screwed by Kamado so ended up here"

    Ring?

Its a crown for Ms. South Carolina.
  10. Funny, my Dad is the one who forwarded it to me.
  11. I thought I read somewhere that Mars was supposed to line up with the moon or something. Is this really happening?
  12. Where Everybody is Somebody!!
  13. Yeah, my problem was that it is "at an angle" when you open it. Got tired of picking the thing up off the floor.
  14. The thing I never liked about a BGE is the top damper, instead of it being screwed in it just sits on top and every time you opened it it fell off. Also the one that comes standard had no adjustment just a solid lid that you rested at an angle to get the proper air flow. Very primitive compared to the KK. I have to admit I haven't used one in a long time and maybe they have fixed this.
  15. Thats funny, I never had any idea what Lemoncella was, then my parents came back from Italy and brought some back for us. It stayed in the cabinet until we had some daring company and we decided to try it out after several other adult beverages. Much to our surprise it was really good.
  16. At one point Dennis was making the charcoal baskets with these legs. I don't know if they are still built this way or if this is just a left over. I don't know the benefit of them but I do have a couple of these versions.
  17. That is strange, I have had mine for several years and I keep it hanging on a table near my grill OUTSIDE the whole time. I have never seen any sign of rust.
  18. I bought one of these years ago and at the time questioned the longevity of the blades. The salesperson at the time said there was no need to buy replacement blades as they would never wear out. Being the pessimist that I am I order a few extra blades (don't even know where I put them) needless to say the salesperson was right, I will never need a replacement blade. This thing is great.
  19. Richard did have patents on his original design but they ran out.
  20. I agree, we want side tables, we want side tables but we've been saying that for years, maybe decades. Maybe since clay was discovered. Ok, maybe months.
  21. Well there typically is a difference in temps in those two locations depending on how long it has to stabilize.
  22. Were both thermometers in the same location in the grill? Could be different temps in diff parts of the grill.
