  1. Without the risk of sounding cheesy... I just laid my eyes on my KKs and they almost took my breath away. That 32" big bad is one big grill!!! Just arranging shipment now I may be able to get them today!!!!
  2. I'm sitting at the warehouse waiting to pay for delivery. They only accept cash so I drove about 45 min. If I can sweet talk it I will deliver this afternoon if not looks like a morning delivery!!! Going to see if they will let me go take a look

  4. I hope that customs clear the packages and I should have end of this week or early next week at the latest
  5. Ok just a quick update. My kks arrived in Toronto this afternoon. The warehouse had made arrangements to send a truck over to pick up the container. I am just awaiting notice that the kks arrived st the warehouse. From there, customs elects to inspect or approve the deceleration. If they approve then I will receive paperwork from the customs broker ASAP and make arrangemnts for home delivery. If all goes well.... I will be able to pay for delivery tomorrow and ship as early as Thursday.

  9. I have a top of the line chefs choice and it has been good. The issue is/was that the coarse grind creates an edge that was designed for my knives. I have collected a kitchen series of knives over the past two years and love them. I found that the master chef changed the way that they work. I sharpen more often as well. Last month I got the new gadget designed for my blades. It's a manual feed style but I tell you.... These knives are as sharp as can be now. Very pleased with my little gadget and it was only 20.00. It is designed to sharpen the blade to henckels blades degree so it really does a number on my set!!

  13. The saga continued. There is a six day delay as my container was pulled for inspection. So the container was just released and should arrive in Toronto on the 8th by train. Hopefully the last leg of the journey

  17. I spoke with the customs broker on Friday who confirmed my delivery is in Vancouver. He said that it had not yet released, so I hope that it is now on its way. They said December 2nd to the 4th is the ETA to Toronto... I will call on Wednesday for an update

  20. I had a recipe I used The fire was caused at 350 with foil wrapped in deflector. The temp had dropped a bit so I opened it back up to raise the temp. That caused the grease on the foil to catch
  21. you are exactly right!!! I have purchased a bunch of new cooking items for my KK grills and thrown away some of my old stuff that I do not use anymore. I have learned over the past 3 or 4 years what I use and don't use. I purchased a set of enamel cast dutch ovens and pots as well as a skillet, and recently ordered the cyberQ wifi remote on Roberts request. I am ready to go and can't wait to start cranking out some serious cooks on these bad boys!!!
