  1. Good thing is, my friend with the hand truck also happens to by my IT director, so the day the KK gets delivered, we will both be heading to my house so he can help me move it. And of course picking up some liquid refreshment along the way. Can you say short work day?
  2. Well, its been booked and supposed to be picked up today, I have not received the phone call yet, but I will ask them about the jack when they do call, thanks for the tip. If not, my friend has a heavy duty hand truck, we'll get it to the back yard !!!
  3. My Black Dragon is on the truck and heading to SoFla!!! Now my biggest decision is what to smoke on it next weekend !!! Ooooh, and there is a long weekend coming up too... what to do, what to do
  4. Burner Threads I think these might be the threads you are looking for. DJ's Propane Burner Project thread http://www.komodokamado.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1515&sid=a74caaa676a127bb51d8f0826cb18f71 Burner flame thread, includes Dennis burying the needle at 800 degrees http://www.komodokamado.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1265&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= Temperature using gas only thread http://www.komodokamado.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=570
  5. I have 2 Super Wacky Marts that are close by. One doesn't have anything but Kingsford Briquets, the other has pallets laying around of 10# bags of Royal Oak Lump for $5.27. Picked up 3 bags for my upcoming new arrival.
  6. Just make the Rum Runners stronger next time and get your parts before they wear off
  7. That looks like one juicy brisket. I've only done one brisket before and that was 12 years ago. I may have to make that my first low and slow when my KK gets here. Its supposed to have landed in the US on Saturday, I can almost smell the mesquite !!! Pulled pork can wait !!! Nice Job!!
  8. Re: Come to Bali for a week of R&R That would be relevant only if we all had calibrated monitors.. Chances are good that most of us are seeing something just a little different regardless.. nature of the beast. And then if we take white point balance into consideration.. Argh it really gets frustrating. BTW I always shoot with a tripod using the timer and no flash to "attempt" to most accurately represent the different tiles colors.. But shots of the same cookers taken (with no flash) at different times of the day still look a lil' different.. Always best to fly here, pick out your Komodo and then go to Bali for a week of R&R before returning to the real world.. Oh, if only it were that easy. It was like pulling teeth getting the approval on the purchase to begin with !!!
  9. I love my Kitchen Aid!! It can churn out some tasty, frosty adult beverages without working up much of a sweat. Would not trade it nuttin'! Using it now...hehehe....Rum Runners! -=Jasen=-[/quote:8fg2jwrq] No Pics, No Rum Runners
  10. I have the 2 probe Maverick as well. It works great with the exception of the range as already mentioned. It will just reach my kitchen so I can keep it on the counter. I'll be using it on the KK ( still waiting for that email from the trucking company ) until I can pop for a Stoker or Guru.
  11. Yea, everytime I have to go fire up the old gasser and find a nice hot spot to put the food, I let out a big sigh.
  12. I thought that had been fixed too. A spring at the end of the shaft or something like that. I'll have to find the thread. I won't know for a few more weeks. 2 more weeks on the water and 1 across land... tick tock tick tock
  13. If you have Barbeques Galore in your area, they have a large selection of wood chunks. Check their store locator http://www.bbqgalore.com/retail/
  14. Any idea if will support more than 1 food probe?
  15. Nice !! Now I can actually get a notification on my blackberry that I would actually care about I think that just made up my mind to get the stoker. I was pretty much already there, that just nudged me over. thanks !!
  16. Dragó floats !!! Its complete and on the water !!! Time to clean the patio and pull the weeds. I've been reading and I know that no pics = it don't exist !! The area is just too messy right now. Must make its home KK worthy. My mouth is watering already
  17. Said the network engineer while trying not anger the admin I'm gonna use that one at work
  18. Very well could be as it is common. Your cache stores web page data that could be outdated and is not refreshing properly. And sometimes it could just be PFM too. ( for those who get it) Either way, not much I can do about it. -=Jasen=- Well, I have tried 2 workstations at home (1 Windows, 1 Linux) and 3 workstations at work (2 windows, 1 Linux) and all have the same problem. Some threads will not open, just sits for a while then comes up blank. I even tried clearing my cache. Wonder if the webserver needs its http service restarted.
  19. FYI, I contacted EZQue via email about the combo being out of stock (no 8"). They said to purchase the 6" kit with motor and will sell me the 8" cradle when it is available (6 to 8 weeks) for the price difference between the 6" kit and the combo. I just have to quote the email they sent me to show them that they are giving me a deal when I order the 8" cradle.
  20. That looks delicious. My EZQue arrived Friday, now I just need my KK to put it in I can tell I'll be using the Rotis frequently. Maybe my KK will get on the boat this week.
  21. [quote="Drunk_J He was a pet. His name was Tripod! -=Jasen=- So it was a boy turkey. I'm afraid to ask who ate the "3rd leg"
  22. Just awesome !!! It looks like there is a real turtle swimming above the tile. I wonder how many people will do a double take when they walk in to the room where that will be installed "Ahhhh, Turtle !!!"
