  1. Sure glad I keep the hours I do. Smashed Burger with swiss and a shot of mustard just went down good (6:56am) Oh yea the egg really topped it off.
  2. What say you? Which finishes cooking first the flat or the point? How much longer do you cook after seperation. Or is this not relevant?
  3. Shudder is as shudder does. Car washes are good. Just kinda hard taking them home.
  4. When in service I wraped in foil and then 2 sheets of newspaper then into a paper bag. Stayed hot forever.
  5. Its Ok to share a few words and a pat now and then.
  6. I fill that much lump so I have no refill need. The over fill will just go out once the vents are closed. I do not keep up with how much to load per cook just fill to top of basket handles. I just load and go. (After basket ash removal) I do keep up with cooks how long they took, the temps etc.
  7. The float can be seen a long way off. When it drops from sit you need water. I use pallet wood for outside things.
  8. http://www.instructables.com/id/Reservoir-Bins-make-gardening-easy/?ALLSTEPS This was the easy way for me to show and tell. I use 5 gal buckets set out on a field of used carpet. I put drain hole 2-3 inches up from bottom of bucket. (when water comes out input water level is reached) Add homemade straw stick float for filler pipe. (when sunk you need water) I also use a second bucket in the first one. No. 2 bucket bottom = 1- Put hole in middle for 2 ltr bottle. With holes in side of bottle (for vertical seepage tube) 2- Add hole for filler pipe 3- Add 1/2 inch drain holes. 4- Fill with mix of sawdust and sand 50/50 Add water and plant. Note: 1- I feed 1 vienna sausage can of feed per 10 feet of row space once a week. 2- In my raised beds (4x30) I use a semi auto watering system. (1 min water time for two 30 ft rows) No water gets on plants. The buckets I take in and out during cold wx. I have gotten kinda old and these are not the best instructions so if you need get me on chat. Its a great weedless system that takes little work.
  9. What say you http://www.cooking-outdoors.com/how-to-season-the-island-grillstone/
  10. I wipe with damp cloth. Not sure it is nessary. Its just me. By the way this stuff is a great household/office cleaner. I posted it here once before long ago. Those that used it loved it and used it on everything. Others knocked it but never tried it. I have had no negative reaction on any surface. The misses might take it away from you.
  11. I named mine Ralph. Reminded me of a young airman in the that worked for me USAF. Always caught up with Did he hear what I said? or Did I say what he heard? Ralph was exacting with his instructions. Example: Yes you can have a small pet in the barracks, but secure it when you are out. During a barracks inspection the commander came face to face with a live rattlesnake. My Komodo Kamado does exactly as told. Could have been a computer. It can do - if I will do As CC said you will know. No need to rush just wait for the happening between you and yours.
  12. So far so good going on 8 years. Ralph looks like new with no problems. Not like washing car with a hose. Try it on something else first. See what you think

    Wrapped Brisket

No problems here. I just light up a small amount (3in) of lump in middle of the Komodo Kamado with my long handle Weed Eater and Ralph is off and running for 14 plus hours. Set it and forget it. I do insure that there is no ash in the basket. Other than that I just dump new lump on top of the unburned lump. (to top of the handles)
