  1. That's a man sized burger Those ribs and ABT's looked mighty good also.
  2. H, if you like owning debt that would be a good thing
  3. Dennis will have to chime in on the heat retension properties of the tile. I would imagime, being a ceramic, it would add a tad. Probably not enough to effect the cooking at all. Purely asthetic I'd say. Yard art.
  4. SO, the pics need to be sized, right? So I won't have to buy people monitors. How is that done?
  5. I'm probably gonna get the last laugh because Dennis said whoever had the highest post count by 11:00pm est would win the OTB grill. You've got a few minutes but I'm in the lead, thanks to not knowing how to post a pic.
  6. I guess it wouldn't be so bad if I was slammed, but I don't drink OK, I tried putting IMG, then pic, then IMG then pic. That didn't work. I tried IMG at first the PIC, PIC, PIC then IMG, that didn't work. So, how does it go?
  7. Yeah, I hear ya laughing Gerard.
  8. Pulled a few butts off after 21 hours and turned it wide open to burn off the grease. The little lady thought the cabin was on fire.
  9. Yeah, that's a nice color. Who cares what color it is, poopy brown would be nice
  10. Some times it just happens. Ole Murphy, he's a tricky one ain't he. Drat him.
  11. Welcome SuperMighty. I lived up in Richmond for a short while...beautiful place indeed.
  12. I just put 18 lbs of pork butt on about an hour ago. My hands smell like rub, the back porch smells good. Man, life is good.
  13. I don't repeat myself, I don't say things over and over, I'm not redundant.

Well, the problem is like the guy who emailed me. He said they have a killer dal for 899 which include stainless steel upgrade. So, he thought he was gonna be grillin for 899. I added all of the stuff up and it was...well, here's a snippett of the email I shot him back When you upgrade to stainless steel bands - $120 stainless steel main grill - $88 stainless steel upper bracket - $45 stainless steel upper grill - $69 stainless steel drip pan bracket - $39 Gas option - $175 Kamado temp guage - $25 Lumpsaver plus - $55 stainless steel ash remover - $29 ceramic cart - $109 (mine has a cart, but not ceramic) Shipping - $235 (my guess, could be more) You have $1,888 - Which is about what I paid. Dang man, it's like buying a car, ain't it.

  21. If you've ever had any kind of charcoal grill, then you are familiar with how to, and what little trouble it takes to fire one up. I used to get the charcoal going in a chimney (5 minutes or so) and then pour them into the ceramic grill (no KK yet). A few years ago I got the a torch. Now I put the charcoal in the ceramic grill and blow torch it. Very very easy. I use it for 2 or 3 burgers all the time.
  22. It is just mind boggling the load of bull they give you at the Mexi-K place. Pictures weren't enough so you had to ship them the crubbled top for them to replace it. That's like me saying, "I've seen pictures of your beautiful cooker, please ship me one so I can get a real eye ball on it and if I like it I'll buy it, if not you will have to ship it back to yourself"
  23. That thread does no justice to the real language (I've personally heard it on the phone) that lady will use.
  24. PorkChop, There is at least one more plus. Dennis doesn't have a wife that will cuss you blankety-blankety blank up one side and down the other for even calling the customer service line. That woman can and will cuss like a sailor. It's just a tad bit unbecoming of a lady and a business owner to do that to her customer base...at least that's my way of thinking on the matter.
  25. Honesty? I don't know about you guys but I'm getting very sick of all this honesty. I'm not used to it and I don't trust it Just kidding...it's actually true that I'm not used to it though, being a K owner we were never allowed to hear the truth.
