    Mexican Pork Butt

Wife is having a Mexican themed birthday party next week, and she's in charge of tacos. So instead of beef, she asked if I could do a pork butt, for pork tacos. My question is, has anyone ever done a Mexican pork butt? I'm thinking of making a Mexican/taco flavored rub, I've just never heard of it before. Rob
  4. I agree with tony, you're fire wasn't out, a likely culprit is the latch wasn't closed completely. Bronze is my favorite btw. Rob

  9. Whenever a potential buyer posts on the forum and asks about accessories, I always recommend getting charcoal for that reason. I guess it's hard to visualize how much can fit on the pallet with the grill. Rob

  11. Dennis, I'm with you!! It's just how many times do we read someone having difficulty, see pics of a dis mantled crate, or have someone ask how to get it off the pallet. I'm just thinking out loud here. I guess it's the oil in the car engine thing. Rob
  12. Would it be practical to put a written copy of the manual inside the crate? Possibly stencil crate removal instructions on the crate? Rob
  13. Only 201 and 202 are on the website. Rob
  14. Some of the questions suggested for a faq are I believe owners manual questions. Are the manuals being sent, or just not being read thoroughly? I mean, I know I read all institutions completely before assembly![emoji41][emoji41][emoji41] Rob
  15. There are blocks nailed around the feet of the grill, you have to pry those off. As I said earlier, the top of the crate is a ramp designed to use for rolling the grill off the pallet. Also FYI, remove the 10mm bolts at the very bottom of the legs of the crate, and the entire crate lifts off, with no disassembly required. It's fairly light, but bulky. Rob

    KK moisture

Exactly!! Steam from a grill!! Find that anywhyelse! I've been burned by steam more than once when opening my grills. Rob
  17. Ribs and brisket, maybe. When it comes to ANYTHING else, you got it!! Rob

    KK moisture

I often have puddles of moisture under my lower vent. Kks are truly sealed vessels, these little moisture trails prove it. Rob
  19. I'm with Bosceaux Mac, you set a standard. In that standard though, are a number of outstanding kker's, bosceaux, the kreef's, and so on. There are so many excellent kk cooks, it's impossible to name them all. I'm unworthy!! Rob
  20. You can't go through your house? Rob
  21. Is a 23, or a 32? Rob
  22. So, if you get a piece of wood small enough, it'll actually start to soak up water? Rob
  23. Bruce, are you aware that the top of the crate is a ramp designed to use on the pallet? Based on your pic, you can easily roll it off yourself. Rob
