Actually......I just did one recently (pictured below).  11 - 12 pounds @ 250*  to an internal temp of 205*.   I believe it took about 10 hours.  The stall was almost 3 hours.  I do not use a controller for my cooks.  I find once the cooker is dialed in, I don't need one.   Also the newer 16"TT have a higher dome lid which is very nice for larger cuts of meat.   

I have cooked 2 - 8# butts before in the 16 TT.  Turned them the other direction than the photo below, so the thermometer was in between the two pieces of meat. No pictures of that cook.

Looks good Jon, I  may get a 16 first while on my way to the 32. I can get to 2,000 quicker than 6,000. And I can still cook on my egg with the 16"TT until I get to my 32bb.

@ Lance, Jon is probably boating this weekend so I'll take the liberty and tell you why I think the SS plate is there. I believe it is there to keep live coals from falling out the vent holes. That's my 2 cents. :)

@MacKenzie thx for the reply, but to your knowledge is the plate laying in the charcoal basket more like an "L" shape? Being attached to the inside of the basket at the opening of the vent?

Therefore the plate burns with every cook. I'm just a little confused. I would like to see a inside view from the opposite angle. 

Because if the plate is keeping the charcoal from going out isn't it also obstructing the air flow from coming in freely? That's where I'm confused.

I have the Joe Jr. also and they are close in charcoal burn in warm weather but in cold winter weather the 16" KK is noticeably more efficient.  The 16" KK has a lot more cooking space than the round Joe Jr plus the higher dome space.  Much easier to maintain low & slow temps (200* - 250*) over longer time periods with the KK.    I like my Joe Jr. but love my 16" TT KK!!!!!!!!!!  

awesome!  Any chance you have a picture of the two next to each other?  Trying to mentally picture the size.
