Hi all!...... I recently lucked into a 2012 Autumn Nebula 23”. Many thanks to those who posted advice and pictures on how to safely transport one without the crate. The only hiccup was not paying attention to the brake light until the pedal started going all the way to the floor. A little brake fluid and problem solved, well almost, but I did make it home without any damage.

The previous owner took great care and it looks amazing. The grates have some issues and I’ll post pictures when I get a chance for some advice on how to clean and repair.
I’m replacing my 20 year old K7 that has served us well, but it is nothing like the KK. I’ll find a good home for it.

My wife has an idea for a new location for the KK since it’s so beautiful. As soon as it’s ready I’ll be firing it up.
Thanks again for all the informative posts and great pictures!

Good find eagle eye. Those grates are stainless, should clean up well.  Classic Toyota, don't see too many of those on the road, but you do live in the south and cars seem to last a bit longer there. OK, let's see the first maiden voyage cook.

Welcome! As a previous POSK owner (K7), I can tell you that you've upgraded substantially! And, not just worrying about fixing cracks and tiles falling off! The KK cooks better. The good news is that you're already used to setting top/bottom vents to control temperature, so your learning curve will be a very short one. btw - love the color on yours (wink, wink!)

Please post pics of the grate "problem." Maybe we can help and save you from having to replace them?

Hi Kirby,  Where in NC do you live?  I've been lurking on this site since last fall and weighing the pros and cons of jumping in with both feet while reading as many posts as I can.  This week I saw where Dennis put the picture of the Autumn Nebula tiles on the website, and thought that just might be the push I need.  Seeing the picture of your grill in that color may have pushed me a little closer to the edge.

Thanks for the nice welcome and offers to help with the grate. I’ll post pictures as soon as we see the sun here, whenever that will be.

Grillnbrew, I live in western NC about 45 minutes from Asheville.  If you’re near by you are welcome to see it.

Tyrus, I appreciate the truck compliment. Only 110k miles! Unfortunately I bought it used up north and am battling some rust(like the brake line) It’s a work in progress, but I know it’ll still be running long after I’m gone!

Kirby, I live in High Point, a little less than 2 hours east of Asheville.  Thanks you for the offer, I may show up if/when the sun ever comes out again and it gets a bit warmer.
