Milton Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 Does anybody know how the "New Deluxe" charcoal splitter is different to the standard splitter for KK32? I was browsing the website last week and saw this item pop up, presumably a new accessory to the standard lines. New deluxe splitter - https://komodokamado.com/products/charcoal-basket-splitter-32-new-deluxe Standard splitter - https://komodokamado.com/products/32-bb-charcoal-basket-splitter-reducer-oct-container I want to try and get the accessories all sorted for my delivery next year and already have the standard splitter in the order list, but something deluxe has to be better right?
C6Bill Posted December 28, 2022 Report Posted December 28, 2022 The picture looks the same, but i believe there is a new splitter for the 32 that splits the firebox from front to back instead of the standard side to side. I have the side to side splitter and i really like it but i want that front to back splitter really bad !!!!

If you are going to buy the rotisserie setup for your KK, I'd highly recommend a front-to-back splitter. Edited December 28, 2022 by tony b

I will check back with Dennis about the side to side splitter New deluxe" version. I sent him a message but seems he may be taking a break. I have months to sort this out so its no stress. Unfortunately I got the 'ol covid for Christmas so my boredom is channeling into the minutiae of KK planning and preparation. 1

Hi Dennis The confusion is around the directionality of the split, being front to back or side to side. It can be confusing especially for new folks ordering for the first time.

Roti splitter Charcoal Basket splitter is front to rear and adjustable 1 2
