ThreeDJ16
Very nicely built. How many full racks can you get on it and it still fit in the grill? -=Jasen=-

U2PLT
New Rib Rack There are nine spaces for ribs that are far enough apart for the biggest Spare Ribs you can find. They were welded with TIG and there are absolutely no spatters anywhere. They used 1/4" SS, with two rods on bottom on each side for extra strength. It is quite heavy. I have built my own with my son who has a wire welder with tanks. But it is nothing like the TIG. Plus the bends are perfect and I used a large vice before, and decided it was not worth the effort to meet this products quality, much like DL's attitude. Which says perfection gets more word of mouth customers than the best advertising in the world....... With nine spaces you could hold 3 of SAMS crovacs which have 3 Spares untrimmed in them. I trim mine to St Louis type.
Curly
Don't look like the 2 or 3 on either end would fit long ways though.
U2PLT
Use Your Imagination Just bend it to fit the curve!!!!!!!
Curly
Re: Use Your Imagination Just bend it to fit the curve!!!!!!! Well, it's worth a try...might be a log jam in the middle though. But we've all seen the pic of 27 racks on a large egg (where's the whiz when ya need him)...so I reckon it's possible.
Saucier
Re: Use Your Imagination How in the wide world of sports, could you get 27 racks in a cooker?? Just bend it to fit the curve!!!!!!! But we've all seen the pic of 27 racks on a large egg (where's the whiz when ya need him)...so I reckon it's possible. U2PLT
Not 27 In the SAMS pack there are 3 spare ribs not trimmed. So 3 packs equals 9 Ribs that I trim to St Louis style. Next buy I will take pictures.....

Amphoran
Mine arrived this afternoon, and man, is that one industrial-strength rib rack! My ancient Weber rib rack goes out to pasture immediately! I'd highly recommend one of these if you like ribs like I like ribs!
DennisLinkletter
I'm thinking that the lower part of the ribs would get most of the heat here.. I don't even see space for the hot air and smoke to escape..
Firemonkey
Yep. No way I would want to pack my grill like that. I dont like the ribs to even touch each other, because I like the smoky bark. Those are packed in so tightly, they may as well have been wrapped in foil.
GregR
How many? Has anyone tried loading this up with 9 racks? There was discussion earlier in this thread as to how many racks would practically fit in this rack on the OTB and I'm wondering whether there is any first-hand experience out there. GregR
Count 'em, nine slabs Unable to wait for the much anticipated KK rib rack to become available (I had a rib cook for 8 couples a couple of weeks ago), I pulled the trigger on the rack from Southern Steamers. As these photos demonstrate, nine slabs of baby backs fit just fine.
