ckreef Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 (edited) I'll use this thread to post some random Bistro Cooks that really don't merit their own thread. Tonight was a Spatchcock chicken cook. Edited November 14, 2015 by ckreef
MacKenzie Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 ckreef, that chicken looks awesome, it is nice and evenly coloured.
CeramicChef Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 ckreef - great looking spatch'ed yard bird! Very nice color on that bird. Kudos!
GoFrogs91 Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Nice bird. That probe looks, errrr a little uncomfortable. Jr is still looking a little pristine. When are you going to smoke on it?
tony b Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Gives a nice perspective on the size. The bird takes up most of the main grill space. On a 23", it wouldn't take up that much space on the upper grate.

ckreef Posted April 12, 2015 Author Report Posted April 12, 2015 Nice bird. That probe looks, errrr a little uncomfortable. Jr is still looking a little pristine. When are you going to smoke on it? It's 4 am - will be firing up Super Jr momentarily for a Boston butt. 1

tinyfish Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 CK your standards are too high that delicious yard could have had its own thread by my account.

Yes maybe but the entire dinner as a whole was nothing special. Served it with stove top stuffing, packet gravy and green bean casserole. Don't get me wrong it was a good meal just nothing special.
tinyfish Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Don't hold back our food porn....sometimes when I don't or can't cook its always nice to look at someone else's cooks. One man's simple is another man's feast...... 1
MacKenzie Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Great looking burgers and I see there are spare buns for another day
ckreef Posted April 21, 2015 Author Report Posted April 21, 2015 Those buns are so good, not that many left over. My son ate 2 buns and 1 burger. They'll be gone by tomorrow lunch - LOL
tony b Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Please share your dough recipe for the buns. They look really tasty.
tinyfish Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Prometheus looks like he's smoking smoke good stuff there....
CeramicChef Posted April 21, 2015 Report Posted April 21, 2015 Charles - there is nothing better in my world than a really fine burger and those look absolutely wonderful! And homemade buns to boot! Kudos to you and skreef!
GoFrogs91 Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Great looking burgers. Simplicity at its finest.
ckreef Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 TY everyone. They were really tasty. I did a few things differently this time and the burgers just came out better than usual. Will try again to make sure it was my method not just a fluke that made them better The one picture was just kewl looking with all the burger smoke pouring out of it.
