bryan
I am missing post from new and old members alike. Where are all the cooks, questions, suggestions, and things we would like added to Komodo Kamado? In the past there were a bunch of us that did not post pictures for what ever reason but we sure had comments, questions and suggestions. Plus a whole lot of cooks we talked about. Then there were all the things we suggested to Dennis that we would like. What say you. Lets get some more ideas going. Any new members need help. I'm sure someone here has your answers and is just waiting for your question. If nothing else just say hello or whatever blows your skirt up. tony b
Yeah, some of the "old timers" (I'm getting to be one, Yikes!) pop in and out. Life gets in the way sometimes, or so some folks say. There's always "new blood" that keeps things going along.
ckreef
Not an old timer here but not sure I'm new blood either. Prometheus wasn't my first kamado so I haven't had a lot of questions. I try and post cooks whenever it's something interesting. I've posted a couple recipes and have a few more coming up.

EGGARY
Would like to hear from Firemonkey, mguerra, LarryR, Slu, etc.
tony b
Yeah, Doc (mguerra) pops in now and again. Hell, even Porkchop showed up after a long hiatus, but has since gone back into hiding.
CeramicChef
Yeah! I watched all of LarryR's videos and he's the guy along with 5698k who pushed me over the edge. I'd still be using a decidedly less well made kamado if not for those two guys. Then the call to Dennis and, well, all y'all know the rest of that story!
bryan
That sure brings back good memories. Wonder if they are still KK'ing. Ever hear from Paswesley? He started right off doing big cooks for his church.

That's no problem. You just need an interest motivator to re-kindle that fire a little bit. That is why I am always searching for new and unsual cooks. bryan
As long as we all stop by when we can ... I just hate it when life gets in the way of my play! LOL!! Hello to that. I'm lucky to be retired and only doing what I allow on my plate.
CeramicChef
bryan - I've been retired 4 times now. Can't make it stick. I prefer to call it "Gainfully Unemployed!". I'm starting yet another business. Gainfully unemployed.

Elaine
Hello All I should be getting my KK grill sometime in the next few weeks and I am so excited! After a great amount of relentless nagging, I finally convinced my reluctant husband, let me order the KK grill rather than go with what he wanted which was an adequate, simple to use, and sensibly priced gases bar-be -que. I won the battle I won the battle but would prefer to grill as a happily married couple enjoying chewing on our wonderful ribs together rather than a miserable single over the hill woman who has to explain to her divorce lawyer how our 37 year marriage ended over new grill. So when I post. A question please answer and any hints for a good start on our 23' KK will be much appreciated! Oh yea, any one living on Vancouver Island in case I need a helping hand with the grill or a new husband? Elaine
5698k
The first question, are you a newbie, or just up grading? For newbies, I always recommend pork butts, but if upgrading, what do you both like? Robert
MacKenzie
Elaine if you have only been using a gas grill you are in for a real treat, the food you cook on this grill will be totally different. Those ribs are about to move to the next level in taste as is everything else you cook on the KK
