MacKenzie Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 I needed some sourdough bread so heated up Pebbles and the result - Right after the bread was done I thought I should do a pizza since the baking stone is hot;) Got busy and here is the pizza with the topping almost complete, just need to add some more cheese. Ready for the bake, temp. is near 500F but starting to fade. Here goes- Temp. kept falling so it took longer to cook the pizza but it ended up nice and crispy. Plated and served with a nice glass of homemade ginger kombuka. 3
ckreef Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Nice bread and pizza. Good use of residual heat.
Poochie Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Wow that pizza looks great! Don't you think a mug of cold beer would have made a complete meal?

MacKenzie Posted October 3, 2015 Author Report Posted October 3, 2015 I always mis-spell it because I spell it the way it is pronounced. It should be spelled kombucha. It is a fermented tea based drink that is rich in probiotics and antioxidants. I find it very refreshing especially since I add a lot of ginger. It is very easy to make.
tinyfish Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 MacKenzie that looks wonderful and its making my mouth water for pizza so I think it will be pizza tomorrow.

MacKenzie Posted October 3, 2015 Author Report Posted October 3, 2015 Gross Benton Does that mean you don't want the recipe.
MacKenzie Posted October 3, 2015 Author Report Posted October 3, 2015 BTW, I don't drink tea because I really don't care for it, but I sure like this stuff:-) Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
GoFrogs91 Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 MK, I will profess to drool over most of your cooks and your brilliant photography, but I am striking this up to a minor character flaw. Looks like the ozone is getting a little thin these days in Nova Scotia.😛 Benton
PRippley Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 Your bread and pizza are MacK-nificent! 😃 Is the pizza crust made from the same recipe as the bread?

MacKenzie Posted October 3, 2015 Author Report Posted October 3, 2015 Your bread and pizza are MacK-nificent! Is the pizza crust made from the same recipe as the bread? Thanks,PJ, it is not the same recipe at all. I have the pizza crust dough posted in the recipe section. If you have trouble finding it let me know and I'll get it for you.
PRippley Posted October 3, 2015 Report Posted October 3, 2015 I can find it MacKenzie, thanks! Have a good weekend. I hope it is filled with lots of cooking!
MacKenzie Posted October 3, 2015 Author Report Posted October 3, 2015 That's great PJ, if not filled with lots of cooking there will be lots of eating. Have great weekend too.
