LK BBQ Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 All, I have a 19" Tabletop model. Do you recommend the rotisserie with it? I was wondering if there is enough room after using all of the gear to rotate a decent sized bird or roast. Any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated!
LK BBQ Posted January 23, 2016 Author Report Posted January 23, 2016 Actually, now that I'm looking at the on-line store - is there a rotisserie for the 19" KK? Or is there a 3rd party product? The 19" grill has the ports for the motor/axle. I've never looked closely at the rotisserie features and methods.
PRippley Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I have a 19"Hi Cap Tall and it has a rotisserie, the item you buy from a third party is the motor, from One Grill. I think ckreef has a rotisserie for his 19"TT.
PRippley Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 Oh, and yes I love the rotisserie, I don't often bake whole chickens any other way.
ckreef Posted January 23, 2016 Report Posted January 23, 2016 I have a 19" TT and rotisserie. I use the rotisserie whenever I do whole chickens. Gyro rotisserie cooks are awesome too. I've done maybe 5 or 6 rotisserie cooks so far. I did replace my thumb screws with 5mm x 12mm Allen head bolts. Also if you want indirect with a drip pan you can get a small cookie sheet to sit on the lump handles. I also have a direct heat infrared diffuser. See my Gyro rotisserie improvement thread for those details. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
LK BBQ Posted January 24, 2016 Author Report Posted January 24, 2016 I'm a bit confused. What did you use as the rotisserie basket? I don't see one listed on the 19" TT accessories in the KK on-line store. Is it just an out-of-stock or is that something you need to buy somewhere else? Thanks everyone for your help!
ckreef Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 They may not be in the online store. Just call Dennis, he's got them. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
MacKenzie Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 LK, as ck said, your best bet is to call Dennis.
Jon B. Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 LK BBQ, Here is a picture of the rotisserie rack for the 19" KK with a small pork roast in it. Hope that helps! ">http://http://s1013.photobucket.com/user/BeesWacker/media/20151125_180156.jpeg.html'>

tony b Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 Better be or we'll have Dennis reactivate that Weber Tailgater conversion app! 1
Jon B. Posted January 29, 2016 Report Posted January 29, 2016 Better be or we'll have Dennis reactivate that Weber Tailgater conversion app! Not the dreaded Weber app.................Then I must also report that Mac the 19"TT also has a wonderful cherry smoke aroma about it.........................not only looks great but smells great also!!!!!!!!
MacKenzie Posted January 29, 2016 Report Posted January 29, 2016 Whew, that was a close call, so glad you rescued your 19" TT.
