MacKenzie Posted February 26, 2016 Report Posted February 26, 2016 Tried the recipe suggested by Jon and it is delicious. Baby spinach, ricotta cheese and added some prosciutto to the mix. Seasoned with sweet and hot paprika, garlic granules and black pepper. Grilled @ 275-300Funtil the IT was 165F. On the grill. Grilled. Plated.
tony b Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 Nice, MacKenzie (even with the ketchup! )
Rak Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 That looks delicious and I especially appreciate the Ketchup
MacKenzie Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 Funny you should mention the ketchup. I thought I wonder if I could sneak this one by Tony but have my ketchup loving friend spot it. 50/50 not bad.
Rak Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 LOL I noticed the ketchup right away, and then read Tony's comment...It did make me laugh!
MacKenzie Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 Rak, did you notice that Tony puts ketchup in is bbq sauce.
ckreef Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 A fine looking meal. I'm with Tony, I generally don't put ketchup on anything. Them potatoes smothered in gravy - now we're talking. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
tinyfish Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 I only saw the chicken and it looks fantastic.
Rak Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 Rak, did you notice that Tony puts ketchup in is bbq sauce. ohhhh the secret ketchup eater...! He can join the club
MacKenzie Posted February 27, 2016 Author Report Posted February 27, 2016 This would be good with a little ketchup on it, eh Rak. Grilled toasted cheese with some bacon and ketchup. I think Tony jinked me because I did take a pix with ketchup on it but it is not on my card. Or maybe I was so excited about doing it that I forgot once I sat down to eat.
tony b Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 Nice job, MacKenzie, but it's Vietnamese ketchup (aka, Sriracha!) Charles, made another batch of Poutine last night. Scored some local cheese curds this time - Milton Farms red chile cheddar, with Bosco's official Poutine gravy mix. Killer!! Who needs ketchup??
Rak Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 I could use a big bowl of Poutine right about now, with ketchup!
tony b Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 I could use a big bowl of Poutine right about now, with ketchup! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! 1

tony b Posted February 29, 2016 Report Posted February 29, 2016 Yes, you do, Charles. The curds shouldn't be too hard to find.
cschaaf Posted March 1, 2016 Report Posted March 1, 2016 I've never seen cheese curds sold in a store. About 2 years ago, I found a pre-packaged poutine (frozen fries, a package of gravy, and a package of cheese curds), I believe it was in Trader Joes. I've looked a few times since and haven't seen it again. The fries weren't good and the gravy was worse... but the cheese curds were pretty good.
