MacKenzie Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 Fired up Pebbles for a nice sausage dinner. Store bought hot Italian sausages with butternut squash and baked potatoes. Plated. The sausages were nice and moist. 1
CeramicChef Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 MacKenzie - once again your photos leave me starving! Beautiful cook. Kudos and congrats to you. I do love that butternut squash.
dstr8 Posted April 10, 2016 Report Posted April 10, 2016 Nice MacK! Ever make your own sausage? I'm 1/2 Italian...grew up helping my Mom & Uncles hand crank meat grinders for all things Italian sausage. My Mom had 3-brothers and each of their Italian sausage "recipes" tasted different. Kinda funny given they learned from the same source :).
MacKenzie Posted April 10, 2016 Author Report Posted April 10, 2016 Thanks, everyone. dstr, I bought those sausages one day to use as an ingredient is a recipe that I wanted to make and had none of my own. I do make sausages but it has been a long time since I have made any. My last batch were chicken sausages which I did like and at the same time I made some 2 oz. patties for breakfast. It is funny how 2 people can make the same recipe and you end up with 2 different tastes, isn't it.:)
Geo Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Another over-the-top meal, MacK. I just finished dinner, but now I'm hungry again! Yummy
ckreef Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Great looking dinner and really great looking pictures. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT
MacKenzie Posted April 11, 2016 Author Report Posted April 11, 2016 Thanks, Geo and ck. I have to admit I did enjoy that one.:)
MacKenzie Posted April 11, 2016 Author Report Posted April 11, 2016 Thanks, Stile88, I really did enjoy it so much so I might even buy more of those sausages;)
MacKenzie Posted April 11, 2016 Author Report Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) Thanks, Ken. I will be doing this one again. Edited April 12, 2016 by MacKenzie 1
