mk1 Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Congrats! Nice choice. Buy a lot of coffee lump and CoCo char as the shipping is a freebie at this delivery. Buy a lot. A Lot. Decide how much a Lot is and double it! Just Sayin' (nice Av too) 2
5698k Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Excellent choice!! I personally believe the bronzes cook better than the rest. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
MacKenzie Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Robert I know for a fact the pebble ones cook better. 1

tony b Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Stunning view and that Bronze BB will just make it that much better! Second a couple of others' thoughts - load up on both CocoChar and Coffee charcoal, as pointed out (basically free shipping) - you will love this stuff. If you have any inkling on doing pizza or bread in the KK, get the stone now. It's easier to ship inside the grill than as a stand-alone order later (they can get broken in shipment, despite Dennis' best efforts to pack them solidly.) Many of us here are big fans of Fruita Wood for our smoking woods - http://www.fruitawoodchunks.com/ If you have any questions about different charcoals, check out the Naked Whiz's database - http://www.fruitawoodchunks.com/ btw - love the avatar pic of the albino banjo player in Deliverance. 1

wilburpan Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Congratulations on your new KK grill! You’re going to love cooking on it.
egmiii Posted April 28, 2016 Report Posted April 28, 2016 Congrats dude. I'm a little late to the party here, but would have offered to do a FaceTime call to walk you around my grill and answer any questions you may have. It's certainly not the same as seeing one in person, but I could fire it up live and walk you through the critical design elements that set KK apart from the rest.
Gnomatic Posted April 29, 2016 Report Posted April 29, 2016 Congrats on the grill! You're gonna love it! As already mentioned, buy a bunch of CocoChar or CoffeeChar charcoal with your grill, it's great stuff and you'll never get a better deal on shipping. 1
