Breakfast Pizza

A trial run for the pizza challenge on the KG site.

I made one of my favorite pizza's for taste and picture quality, my breakfast pizza.

The pizza is topped with sauce, mozzarella,  goat cheese, mushrooms, red peppers, bacon, sausages and garnished with parsley.

I may try my hand at a deep dish pizza, but I've never made one so I don't know how it would turn out.

Tony, my Friend that's one beautiful cook!  Breakfast pizza … that's a new twist that's absolutely inspired!  Kudos to you!

Best of luck with this entry.  This is a top 3 entry for dead sure and certain.

That is some fine looking pizzas. That first one is top quality challenge material very vibrant colors. Eggs are really popular in the challenges.

Who said that they were just for breakfast? We had a local pub that did pizza for a while and it was a standard on the menu. One of my "go to's" there. Alas, they swapped out the pizza oven for a smoker, and are now doing BBQ. Decent, but mine's better, so I don't often go there much anymore for the food; beer selection is great, though! :drinkers:

btw - the trick is to cook the pizza w/o the eggs and then crack them on top right out of the oven. The residual heat will set the eggs just enough to firm up the white, but leave a nice runny yolk.
