Bruce Pearson
I bought the grill floss to clean The grates on my KK 32, but it doesn't fit the grates. I see they have a replacement kit with two different sizes has anybody bought this and does the larger one fit on the three eights grates? FotonDrv
This is good information! I was considering one of these thing, since I am a big tool guy
tony b
Love my grill floss. Only thing I use on my grates. Like Robert said, the "floss" is actually 2 sizes, just take out the screw and swap ends (replace the screw of course!) and you're good to go!! Syzygies
I do own the major alternatives. I haven't used my grill floss since someone on these forums proposed using a 3/8th wrench. Note this is a Craftsman, and is nicely rounded to match the grate. Other wrenches vary, and owner satisfaction varies accordingly, for this application. In my opinion this is a much better option than grill floss. The only advantage of grill floss is length, if the fire is raging. That's not when I clean.
bosco
I still the Weber T brush for getting it all gone but love my grill floss as well. I like that is scrapes the underside as well. On the 32 it's a bit of a pain as there is two support pieces below the gear that run from front to back. So each grate piece I have to clean in three sections. On the 23" it works awesome
Bruce Pearson
Thanks for all the help guys. I think a I'll go to Sears and buy myself a nice 3/8 wrench, and then try to reverse the grill floss
tinyfish
I'm in the 3/8" wrench camp myself, works great one the 23.
