Mickey D's dropped off in my book when they stopped using beef tallow to placate the silly vegans! We have a local spot that makes THE BEST FRIES that I've ever had. Expand Remember when they changed the pies from fried to baked. The baked ones are good but not like the fried ones are, Whataburger has the fried apple pie along with the best fried fish sandwich! Rye toast with duck fat instead of butter YUM!! There's a restaurant in the Sacramento area that cooks their fries in duck fat and they are off the chart good! Road trip!!
