When I was a kid I loved Carrol's/Burgerking fries then McDonalds but now even though I can't get any here I would say Whataburger has the best fast food fries what say you all!?

5 Guys or PennStation for fresh cut style.

Wendy's has my vote for normal FF.

McDonald's used to be my favorite FF but there burgers are so bad that I haven't been to McD in years.

For chains - 5 Guys, followed by In & Out. But, Ken, I do have a soft spot for Arby's curly fries. Mickey D's dropped off in my book when they stopped using beef tallow to placate the silly vegans!

We have a local spot that makes THE BEST FRIES that I've ever had. Perfect frites - better than what I had in Belgium! I can't even get close at home, using duck fat!!

Remember when they changed the pies from fried to baked. The baked ones are good but not like the fried ones are, Whataburger has the fried apple pie along with the best fried fish sandwich!

Unfortunately, we don't have Whataburgers around here. We just got our 1st 5 Guys - I don't even know if it's open yet. They just finished the building. Miss those fried apple pies, too. They were good!

Love duck fat. My grandfather used duck fat on everything. Rye toast with duck fat instead of butter YUM!!

There's a restaurant in the Sacramento area that cooks their fries in duck fat and they are off the chart good! Road trip!!

Might have to try this for breakfast in the morning, as I have some rye bread.
