As i was going past the veggie display I spotted broccoli and since I was going to do nachos I thought I'd better get a bunch. We all know how much Tony likes broccoli on nachos. It was a beauty day here and because the air was so warm we had fog over the snow. It was beautiful. Rolled out the Little one and it is nearly ready for the nachos. I told you it was fake news. Nachos on the KK. Baked @ 325-350F for about 20 mins. Taste test, unfortunately the bite is a little out of focus but that didn't affect the taste.:)4 points

Oh my goodness these things are to die for. I fed my started yesterday and used 1C of the sponge to make these waffles. Here is the first one. The second- I did get one more that was about half the regular waffle size. Plated with local maple syrup. Don't think for one minute that I didn't put more syrup on the waffle. For the first time ever I divided the waffle into 4 pieces and ate it like a piece of toast. The waffle remained crispy and the syrup was slow to sink to the waffle so I was left with something that I could hold in my hand and the syrup stayed in the pockets. I really liked being able to eat it like this. Garvin I hope you thank you Mother for me, it is a wonderful recipe. I could only eat one waffle as they are very filling.1 point

Excellent job on the Tri-tip! Not had any experience with Wagyu briskets, only steaks. Given that comparison (Wagyu vs Prime ribeyes), I'd have to venture that Wagyu brisket is a noticeable improvement over Prime. Like Aaron Franklin says - "Always get the highest quality meat you can afford." Glad to see that you held your ground with that butcher. What a D-bag!1 point

I think I would go broke if I had a local butcher that carried SRF's. Hard to believe the guy gave you such a hard time. He should know they aren't all the same. That one looks good.1 point

Awesome! I would have never thought to put those sauces on beef ribs - one up on me, Aussie! And yeah, the Dougie's has a bite to it, which was why my suggestion to mix with the Gibson's white sauce, to tame it down some. But I can see adding the sugar to it to bring it down a bit further. Can't wait to hear your reaction when you use the Dougie's straight up on some grilled wings! Have a cold beer ready!1 point

Nice - in that picture, when I zoom in really tight, I think I see some strange bloke with BBQ sauce dripping off his chin - LOL Mrs skreef seems to have a talent for spotting ISS fly by's. Even spotted it last summer when my sister and brother in law where visiting. They had never seen a fly by so thought it was really kewl.1 point

So happy Mac that you liked them now I have to do some for Sunday's breakfast and I will let my mom know that you tried and like her sourdough waffles! Now Mac all you have to do is make some fried chicken and add a little heat to your syrup and you have Chicken and Waffles! Ok now I have to do that too! Garvin1 point
