  1. My Smoke house took my suggestion and made some chili so I thought I'd better buy some and try it out. It is really tasty, lots of meat, great flavour, some heat to it all in all I thought it was a real winner. I had some last night for a snack- and this morning I was still yearning for more so heated it up and dropped a sous vide egg on top and servered the whole mess with KK bacon and Lebanese Mountain bread.

  2. @Tucker its here its here! Ive got some questions now! What side of the heat deflector goes down? One side is smoother than the other. How to you get the side tables on correctly? How do you get the bottom door open to pull the tape off of it? @MacKenzie @Stile88 IMG_0715.MOV

  3. I call it "Eggs in the Sauce." I actually poach the egg on top of the chili in a pan on the stovetop. One of my fav's during the winter.

  4. Congratulations Scotte!!! I have only used my deflector stone once. I found that the drip pan that comes with the cooker or a cookie sheet/ pie pan / foil works just as well and holds any drippings better. I never figured out what side went up or down. I spilled ham juice on it and both sides look the same now. I agree that buying the 19 tall was a good move (great suggestion by @Stile88.) I love my 16 but have the 19 TT for larger cooks. There was foam tape on my side table brackets. I tossed them before putting the brackets on. One of my side tables was not level. Found that the foam tape was great to help level that table. FYI Enjoy and have fun!!!!!!! Jon B.

  5. That looks great @Scotte. The 16" is cute but this 19.5" will be so much more versatile. Hurrah!

  7. Only if you have a time machine - LOL! Thanks, those balusters took me a while to find online, as I wanted something unique when I had the deck rebuilt. Something to compliment the TREX construction. https://www.thedeckstoreonline.com/vienna-series-belly-balusters-from-fortress.html

  9. At least we made it to November before we got our 1st snow this season. Less than 1" last night, but it counts as the 1st official snow. Should be gone by mid-day.
