  1. New video up, tour of the 32” Big Bad. Next video is the burn in. Some content for those of you with grills on a boat! Yes, I do see the Title Text Here, I was too lazy to fix it once the video rendered.

  2. You got it. I know I was starved for KK content on You Tube as a prospective buyer. Now as an owner I can do something about it. Vids will be no frills, but hopefully informative and dialog starters. Thanks for the support here, I'm learning, luckily, the BGE experience is helping. I find the KK to be a very predictable performer.

  3. Syzygies with the 23”, it fits on the middle grate so if you want high heat and indirect, you can place foil on the grilling rack. I’m sure you will work this out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. I love seeing your Cobalt Pebble too, it looks beautiful. That was my original choice when I was going for a 32" but when I changed to the 42" I went with Black Pebble instead.

  7. Impressive video and very comprehensive, I was ready to order another one and I sill don't have my first one. I agree with you on the SS band, it's there to protect the lip, but it really does make the grill pop!

  11. My Trompo King arrived, and I'm looking forward to a first cook, three Tandoori chicken legs. I'm happy to have ordered their Four Spike System, and nice that it comes apart in pairs. I'll usually use it as shown. Also nice that it comes with two center spikes. The longer spike is too tall for the main grill on my 23" KK, but would work on the lower grate. The spikes are shipped taped to the tray, and the adhesive comes off easily with isopropyl alcohol. I'm considering returning their TK Grate, shown in my first picture. Most aftermarket grates are likely to work better, such as the closer mesh, wider grate shown in my second picture. Their grate was clearly sourced as one could also do separately. Had they designed the grate specifically for the Trompo King, it's highly unlikely that they would have been dumb enough to specify an odd number of grates, making it impossible to center. For general use their grate is not wide enough, or closely spaced enough, to do its job. 12. Please do post the burn in/venting video and any other videos you take! I love to see them and venting videos are helping me prep for when I do mine.

  13. Congrats BigO. Great video and a beautiful looking KK. Hard to take your eyes off? That’s why I didn’t buy a cover and keep it under roof. Definitely doubles as a garden ornament. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Mac I’m liking your Chook thighs- undoubtably the best part of a bird. I don’t often roast beef. Here it’s plated with kk roasted spuds, Brussel sprouts, and par boiled/ roasted broccoli. The gravy was superb. Flambé cognac with green peppercorn, bacon, with beef gelatin. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  15. Funny, but I had poutine for lunch yesterday (sans ketchup!) at a local spot that I just found out about. Great food and lots of good beers on tap, too! Is this Heaven? No, it's just Iowa! 🤣

  16. Ever in northern Indianapolis Area? I think most of us would really enjoy this place. I would normally never share a restaurant suggestion unless it was being asked for, but After such a unique experience I wanted to share. Your evening starts with prepping a tailgate, because at Bonges Tavern in Perkinsville, IN that is what you do. Bring a bottle of wine, some beers, scotch, bourbon or even a full bar if you want. You get there an hour or so before your reservation and you have some drinks in your lawn chairs by your car. This is really what makes this place very unique and sets it a part. It is very much a parking lot party, and a lot of fun before dinner. Once inside the limited but excellent menu will serve for a good meal. It it going to be the best meal you’ve ever had? Probably not, but everything is very good to excellent and you will definitely not be disappointed. https://wagonpilot.com/bonges-tavern-perkinsville-indiana/ Pretty cool idea.
