  1. Thanks to all for the informative posts! I'm a new member, long time lurker, and a huge fan. Looking for a second hand KK BB 42" or 32". I'm in south central Wisconsin and willing to travel to pickup with a box truck. Looks like I missed one nearby recently. I realize that this may take a while, and may not happen, but I'm willing to wait while I use my old Costco ceramic. Thank you for your consideration. Cheers 🍹

  2. Hi, I have a 42” SBB in matte black pebble I will be listing soon as Dennis mentioned. I’m located in North Dallas. Just FYI as I get her ready for sale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. They have Angus choice at Costco now. Best I can get locally. But I'd use that method on any I'd cook.

  4. First paper wrap when you get the color you want, not by temp and add tallow. I think the most important part of a brisket cook is to wrap and hold in a cooler for at least 10 hours.. I often leave them 15 hours.. Redistributes the moisture. Throwing a couple of bottles full of hot water in there helps hold the heat.

  5. I might know of a used 42" in Matte Black tiles in Texas.. I also might know of a 32" in Cobalt Blue Colorado. Let me try to track it down for you.

  6. Even when they do show up, they’re not priced significantly below a new one. A used one doesn’t have a warranty, not that it’s really an issue, but it’s still a consideration. I’m with tony, consider a new one. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. Good luck. Pre-owned KKs don't show up often and to have one close enough to you makes it even less likely. Start saving up for a new one - it's your best bet to own a KK.

  8. Welcome @Stromer. Good luck. The journey to buying a KK is often long. The arrival is so so sweet.
