  1. @MacKenzie - those are some kind of good looking beans. Like @Aussie Ora, I've never heard of turtle beans. Down here in these parts we call those black beans. No matter, they are delicious, especially with some ham hock and jalapeño. I wish I had a big bowl of those turtle beams right now. Kudos!
  2. @Aussie Ora - wonderful looking burger cook. I really do LOVE burgers and tose are some king of love on a bun. Beautifully done. Is that a slice of beet sitting on top in that next to the last pic?
  3. @Shuley - the colors in those pics are stunning. I really like this cook, especially as it sows tuna perfectly done, and that's hard to do. Kudos on a wonderful cook! On a side note, I hope your son is do well and recovering nicely.
  4. @DennisLinkletter can tell you exactly where to source your motor.
  5. @MacKenzie - may, just maybe that little guy brought you the kind of smoke wood he want laid on the next BBQ you do up there. Who knew you'd discover the first meat eating squirel? Nicely done!
  6. Nothing better than a good burger and those look great! Kudos, Aussie!
  7. Uhhhh, @DonnyUK, that would be MS MacKenzie! I think Mr MacKenzie loves what MS MacKenzie cooks! You're entitled seeing as you're new! And the Lady MacKenzie can most assuredly cook.
  8. @SmallBBQr - @MacKenzie makes an excellent point. The Canuck Buck generally trades at a discount to the Am Buck. You can't predict the future. Second, what happens if Dennis raises KK prices? How does that change your calculus? As my dead Dad used to say, "He who hesitates is lost!" Don't be lost on the way. Besides, as I remember, Dennis has a financing option for customers.
  9. @DonnyUK - welcome to The Addiction. If you have any questions about the KK product line, ask away here or ask Dennis via a phone call. We look forward to you joining the KK family.
  10. Great color on that bird. Congrats to ya.
  11. @MacKenzie - dadgummit, these cooks just keep getting better and better. That loaf of bread just looks wonderful! And those plated scallops are droolicious! Kudos, kudos, kudos.
  12. @Kevin H - WOWZERS! Great pics and great story. Welcome here to KK Central and welcome to The KK Family. Congrats to you on some great cooks. We look forward to seeing many more. Again, welcome!
  13. @Pauli Girl - that's one really sweet setting for you KK. A really nice garden and a wonderful looking chow. How about Blue Belle for the name? It's a gorgeous flower for your garden,
  14. H@s off to you, Doc! Th@s truly impressive.
  15. @Bruce Pearson - geez! I hope you had the happiest birthday ever!
  16. @Pauli Girl - how about the Big Blue Lizard or something to that effect?
  17. @Aussie Ora - great looking ribs!, very nicely done. Kudos to ya and the KK.
  18. Ok. Doc, between you and Syzygies, I'll give this a shot this Summer. I'll have a group over who have previously had my brisket cooks and try a wrapped brisket on them. We'll see what turns out.
  19. I don't wrap. Never have; never will. I just don't see the need for it when cooking on my KK. If I were still cooking on a gasser or a drafty stick burner, I probably would wrap.
  20. @ckreef Charles, you and Suzy crushed this cook. Congrats to you both! Like @tony b, I'm a wuss and just buy the wrappers. It's easier for an old man like me.
  21. Thanks thinking outside the box. Very tasty looking cook! I had a chicken taco salad last night and it wasn't nearly as tasty as yours looks. Kudos!
  22. @Shuley - that's one very tasty looking cook. Kudos to ya!
