  1. Can't wait to see the double with duel teak cabinet.
  2. Let's face it. You are now the prime candidate to be the #trifecta king (you know you want to). Watch out or I'll start sending you pictures direct - LOL
  3. Yes happy birthday and many more to come.
  4. I doubt that has anything to do with my problem. Earlier this morning it wouldn't let me on now everything seems fine. Nothing changed on my end between then and now.
  5. I know the log on issue is not on my end. I log on to other forums all the time but only half the time I connect on this forum. I just try again a few hours later and it mysteriously works. Shouldn't be like this.
  6. Let me know what happens. This forum is giving me and Mrs skreef a hard time logging on. Very sporadic as to weather it lets us logon or not. I thought mid day was the worst time but maybe not. Very frustrating as I never have issues with other forums.
  7. That is a really great looking single serving lasagna. Love the tomato on top. Makes it look really fresh.
  8. Cracker Pizza Bites Turf test. Cracker pizza bites topped with MD rare flat iron steak and a custom cheese blend. Cooked in Prometheus then presented with a savory steak drizzle. Will probably do my actual cook this weekend.
  9. TY - they tasted really good but that was just the test cook. The final appetizers should be much better. Going to do a couple flavor profile tests then I'll be ready for the final cook.

  12. On the kamado guru forum there is a monthly challange going on. It started in May with seafood and June is appetizer. The challenge series will last 18 months and a point system is maintained. Tinyfish tied for second place in seafood and I tied for 3rd - a total of 21 entries. Us KK'ers are holding our own. If you're interested in participating we would love to have more KK's in the lineup.
  13. Really great looking salmon cook. Hard to find salmon cut that way where I live. The wrapped pears sounds delicious too.
  14. Yea that's going to be a hard one. He's a good cook and he has a huge fanboi club. But I'll post something every month regardless which scores some good points in the end even if I don't rate in any particular month. A lot of this also has to do with your exact cook and how popular that type of cook is. Either way it's fun and I'm eating some good food along the way.
  15. Sorry tinyfish I actually ment you not tony as you and cc participated last month - hurry close your eyes - LOL Will edit the above post.
  16. Cracker bites cook test. The goal was to figure out the optimum configuration and temperature to cook Cracker bites so the cheese melts without the Cracker crust cooking further. This has nothing to do with what was the actual toppings other than the cheese. In both tries the pizza stone was up in the dome on a custom riser. First try. Heat soaked at 500* with cold pizza stone. Somewhat of a failure as they had to stay on to long to melt the cheese. This caused the pizza stone to heat up and burn some of the Cracker crust. Second try. Heat soaked at 600* with cold pizza stone. This is the winning combination. Cheese melted fast enough so the Cracker crust did not cook any further beyond the original parbake. Later in the week I'll tie that into a flavor profile test before I make my final cook. CC and tinyfish - you 2 need to ignore all this - LOL - and these tests won't be posted on the Guru.
  17. Nice looking pies. Manipulating dough off of the work space onto a peel and then off the peel onto the stone can be a tricky procedure to learn. How easy it is has a lot to do with your dough.
  18. I don't even drink beer except every once in a while but it was a kewl can.
  19. Totally awesome cook. I'm very jealous. The biggest issue with a 16.5" is it doesn't have a small rotisserie option - bummer. Me and Mrs skreef have been talking lately about the new outdoor Bistro building and future grills. Although I have 3 more grills needed none of those will be a KK so I'm stuck without a rotisserie option as I plan on trading my large Akorn for a Primo oval Jr with travel cradle. I'll probably give Mrs skreef Prometheus to use as a kamado oven and I'll latch onto the oval Jr.
  20. I think you need to pick a fast, Sexy, stripper name - LOL
  21. Got this idea from a recent KJ video. Italian Stuffed meatloaf via beer can.
  22. Fine looking beef ribs.
  23. Looks mighty tasty. Some angel hair pasta and Sauce and a full meal is born.
