  1. It looks like a 22" Table Top weighs in around 450 pounds. If you have two strong folks, maybe you can remove the top and carry each separate? or, possibly use a utility wagon and ramp?
  2. Great work, well executed. I have one that hitched a ride on my calf from Australia in '06.
  3. You will be doing the various islands of Indonesia; one on each plaque.
  4. Looks like a barrel of monkeys, monkey. 5 stars on the outcome of the kitchen - looks fantastic.
  5. Thank Nick. That is what we call a POSK; a kamado type cooker that Richard Johnson made back in the day out of concrete and chicken wire. It is not a Dennis Komodo Kamado. That threaded rod is probably totally rusted to the spider collar in the top. You may have to resort to a rusted bolt approach, i.e. liquid wrench. bear in mind to cover all the concrete surfaces so as to avoid them absorbing the liquid. Others may have suggestions.
  6. Nick, Can you post a picture of the cooker and and one of the inside of the underside of the lid please?
  7. It also looks like it is missing the lower band. It'd be fine for a planter
  8. Looks good, stay focused on the details don't sweat the scale of it
  9. Unless you really wanted to play with a pointed stick ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piWCBOsJr-w

  16. My 19.5 was able to handle it, the 23 easily handles it, i have had up to a 24# bird on the 23"
  17. Not sure which looks better, the KK or that hunk of pork Great color I'll try to give guidance on your Q's. What side of the heat deflector goes down? One side is smoother than the other. I have to leave this to others who have opened a heat deflector from a newer grill, I gave the one that came with mine to Tom because I ordered a shaped drip pan and use it for heat deflector. How to you get the side tables on correctly? Sorry, have to defer this one also, I do not own side wing tables. How do you get the bottom door open to pull the tape off of it The front door just pulls out. You will love cooking on this.

  22. BTW, is you cottage on the St Lawrence? Cousins have several places outside of Clayton, directly on the river, many a fond memory for me up there in the summer, and one winter.
  23. Very interesting, and validating for those of us that have not owned anything other than a KK. you can see the difference easily. thanks for sharing
  24. remember, the entire top of the crate comes off after removing the 8 lags in the bottom corners. you only have to remove the wooden blocks from in front of the front wheels to roll it off the pallet
