  1. Well Poochie congratulations on your purchase. Now the fun part the waiting. I know what your feeling I'm waiting on my 2nd KK to be shipped. Its the same colour as yours.
  2. I can't wait to see your creation and no more about the weather unless its cold and wet.
  3. Yeah I know the feeling its very hot here in Toronto. I have a little soup left I will try it cold tomorrow when I come home from sweating my a$$ off at work tomorrow.
  4. I served the soup hot. Maybe I live on the moon but I've never had a cold soup.
  5. That looks great. Nexts months challenge on the other forum is something cooked in a pot.
  6. Thanks for the compliment but my down fall is I'm not very creative. I'm not very adventures when it comes to trying new things.
  7. A man of many talents. Those grilled jarred peaches look great.
  8. The roasted red peppers sandwich paired with your spinach would be great. The sandwich was really nice next time I will add a type of sauce/dressing.
  9. Here is my July entry on another fourm. A roasted red pepper sandwich and roasted red pepper and shallot soup.
  10. Great job Robert those ribeyes came out perfect. I must say you eat well this week end.
  11. Keep it coming Robert everything looks great.
  12. That was the hardest part deciding on a colour. When I thought I had my mind made up I saw an even nicer colour. I changed my mind at least four times. I ended up with a bronze metallic.
  13. Same here off to buy some butchers paper.
  14. Thanks Robert that was a great brisket. Are there differences using butcher paper vs foil.
  15. It just dawned on me I messed up!! I used corn starch instead of baking powder.

    Leg of lamb

Like Robert said we try to inspire. Since joining the forum I have been able to cook a lot of new cooks. When I see a post of a cook that I like I try and cook it myself. The good thing here is you can ask the cook a question. These are real life cooks not made for tv cooks.
  17. Brisket and eggs sounds good to me.
  18. I have experienced a second stall myself not nearly as long as the first at about 180ish range.
  19. Problem solved buy both a 23" and a 21". I just purchased a 23" almost two months ago and I wanted to add a second KK to my collection. First I was going to go with the 19" with legs then I said I would go with the 21" but I finally ordered another 23". I figured for a little more money I should just go with the 23" to have that little extra space. The 21" willnuse the same amount of charcoal if not more since the 21" has more mass then the 23". What ever you decide remember a KK of any size is better then no KK at all.
  20. Apricots and zucchini flower all courtesy of mom and dad. Wing craving now satisfied.
  21. I had a craving for some wings so I did the Wilburpan wings plus some grilled apricots for dessert. The wings Has anyone ever eaten zucchini flowers. I dipped them in a batter consisting of flour, egg and water then fried. Now on to dessert. The recipe calls for peaches but since I was given a huge bag of apricots from my parents I thought I would use them instead.
  22. What I meant its not a Snake River Farm brisket. Wow you are lucky to get that quality of brisket for that price.
  23. Nothing too special just a couple USDA Prime briskets. We can't find these north of the border. I now have a contact that brings in USDA Prime briskets and striploins every so often.
  24. I ordered a couple of briskets and I'm hoping they come in tomorrow, if they do then its brisket on Sunday or else it will be beer can stuffed burger Sunday and wood oven pizza Saturday.
