  1. I cooked a mini lamb shoulder roast last night for dinner, it was very tender and tasty, I usually cook lamb shoulder really low n slow but this faster cook was also nice.
  2. Wow Steve that beef and sandwich look amazing, it’s probably my favourite sandwich roast beef and horseradish!
  3. Very nice Tony! Paired well with a nice glass of red too!
  4. Looking awesome mate! All set for tomorrow?
  5. These have just gone in for dinner this evening. I love cooking beef ribs, so tasty!
  6. My wife was travelling for work last week, I didn’t use the stove or oven once the whole time she was away KK all the way! Have you ever roasted a whole pumpkin in the KK? I saw on a program here called food safari fire there was one episode where they stuffed a whole pumpkin with all sorts and then roasted it in a hole in the ground that they then covered up, can’t see any reason that wouldn’t work in the KK?
  7. Thanks MacKenzie, love this cooker more and more every time I use it, tomorrow I’ve got some nice beef ribs going on.
  8. Thanks everyone, absolutely loving every moment of owning the KK.
  9. Chicken wings and roast veg last night, I love the extra space on the 32, it’s perfect for roasting the pumpkin off direct then sliding it across indirect to finish off the wings, works a treat!
  10. Great looking ribs!!
  11. Pork Butt cook today, smoked with apple wood and rubbed with Oakridge secret weapon.
  12. I use a Looftlighter to light a small amount of charcoal in the middle of the basket, leave the vents open until the temp climbs to about 50c, then close down the vents to whatever temperature i'm trying to achieve.
  13. Thanks mate, I’m still amazed every time I cook on it! Absolutely sensational Kamado! Everyone that’s seen it absolutely loves it. We had a couple of guys come round to quote on some shutters last week, when one of them spotted it he couldn’t believe it, couldn’t stop talking about it, I heard him say to the other guy he was with “I’m gonna tell Matty I’ve seen one in the flesh, he’ll be spewing” haha
  14. Totally agree, the basket splitter is awesome, so glad I got that, I’ve cooked chicken thighs the last couple of nights and it’s awesome to be able to start them on the indirect side then flick them across to direct finish them off and get a bit of char on them! Give me a shout when you’re down this way and come round for a beer!
  15. Chicken thighs rubbed with mad hunky hot whang rub, glazed with Lillie Q Carolina sauce!
  16. Awesome chicken mate! I’m regretting not getting the roti for the bb32
  17. Thanks Steve! Just posted a video up, they were certainly tender
  18. Beefies are ticking along nicely, starting to get a tender feel when probed:
  19. I’ve just put some beef ribs on for dinner tonight. Rubbed with Oakridge black ops brisket and smoked using oak wine barrel chunks, the smell of the red wine coming from them is incredible!
  20. Good eye there MacKenzie! I actually cooked 4 of the big Parmi’s and the wife cut off a small piece from one of them, then put the other pieces in the fridge, I wanted one last night and one for lunch today clear as mud lol?
