I’ve got a couple of friends coming over tomorrow for some beers, going to cook this up as well as some home made sausages and chicken wings with a blue cheese sauce!

Thanks MacKenzie! It certainly was, I had some Lillie Q Carolina sauce with the chicken which went very well!

More chicken and veggies tonight, the vegetable tray roasts veggies beautifully, the slots really help the airflow get them nice and charred:

Congrats Michael, I’ve had my BB32 for 2.5 weeks now and I’m loving every minute of it! Stunning colour, can’t wait to see what you cook on it!

All done, rested it for just over an hour before slicing, for a cheap bit of brisket it wasn’t bad at all.

Beautiful cook MacKenzie! That Rosti looks superb and those those yellow beans look great too, I’m not sure we get the yellow beans here?

I bought a little bit of brisket today for lunches for the rest of the week, been on since 9am and currently 5.08pm, just wrapped and back in, looking good already! More to follow

I’ve been doing a lot of my cooks on the top with a drip pan underneath on the main grate, no idea why it just seemed like a good idea at the time

I’ve only had mine for just over two weeks now and I’m very glad I went the 32. Originally I was going to go the 23 but I knew that I would always want and wonder what the 32 was like. Absolutely loving every minute of ownership, regardless of size they are all stunning grills!

Congrats Darren, you're going to love that KK when it arrives! I took delivery of mine a week ago yesterday so the experience of tracking the ships, waiting for the customs clearance etc is all very fresh in my mind, it's a super exciting time when it finally hits port and is on the way yo your home!

Hi John! I've just gone through this process myself and had a BB32 imported into Perth. Dennis and his team make the whole process extremely simple from start to finish, the hardest part is choosing the colour and whether you want tile or pebble finish. From order to patio, mine took 9 weeks, but i hit Ramadan which slowed things down by 2 or 3 weeks, the other guys from Perth have all said that theirs took around the 6 week mark, i imagine it might take about the same time to get around the top to Queensland? Regarding the cold smoker, i can imagine it would be a useful accessory to have, but personally i just throw my wood chunks on top of the coals and wait until the dirty smoke stops before putting the food in. The import process is fairly simple, the KK team will ship the unit and assign an agent to it that is local to you, the agent will be in touch just before the unit hits your local port to arrange the payment of import duties etc and paperwork etc. I was also able to arrange delivery to my house through the agent was really useful. I'll message you regarding the import costs to Australia. Hope you find this useful, the others will be along shortly to fill in anything i've missed.

Glad everyone is safe! Was there any damage to the factory or your homes? -
They sound great! I sometimes find the CG a little too rich with all the fat. I need to take a trip to drivers and see if they have any Margaret river fresh beefies.
-
I love beef ribs too, I’d choose them over pork ribs any day!! Have you tried any of the cape grim beef ribs?
-
Wow very nice rib cook, they look superb!!
