  1. nice looking meal! your guests obviously left happy
  2. if it said shipped then it is shipped. It will take some time to clear customs then off to the California warehouse.
  3. yesterday when I was on mobile and attempting to reply to a post, I would get my original post, and an auto quote of the next post in my reply box. I had to manually delete all that in order just to post. It happened 3 times, but not again. Maybe a quick glitch, however, I figured I should let you know
  4. the cool thing is that they are always evolving in design. But in all honesty they are all built so well that it really is non issue. I have been around this forum for a while and see more preserved KKs than I see ones with problems. The only thing that has drastically changed in design over the years that can't be changed is the grout. Everything else can be upgraded without issue. Dennis takes care of his customers better than anyone that I know, and if he figures out a better way, he will make sure that it can be incorporated in earlier designs. It is true that once you get one, you will say that you should have gotten one sooner
  5. Dennis builds beautiful custom cabinets. I got one and think that they are spectacular.
  6. Is yours already on the water? I was given a packing slip and was able to check. It takes about 2 weeks from leaving port of Hong Kong to Canada and USA. You really need the ship and the schedule number to know exactly. It's exciting to watch but also torture too lol
  7. Awesome advice Dennis. Can he also upgrade the gasket? nuprin looks like a call to Dennis and you will have a bunch of modern goodies. Considering what you paid for the KK this little extra cost to modernize it is perfect!
  8. Tracking those ships became an adventure and an obsession
  9. Awesome buddy. Hearing the ports etc brings back memories. Once you get you packing slip with boat info I will show you where to go so that you can track the boat via GPS

  13. I would consider myself a fairly decent cook. When I upgraded from a kettle to the KJ I was blown away. When I upgraded from the KJ to the KK there was a noticeable difference in my cooking. Nothing changed, the cooker just made better meals. i am really impressed with the KK. Best investment to date
  14. I too am eagerly awaiting the arrival of the singular rod.
  15. @kennyrayandersen looks like you have caught the KK flu buddy. There is no turning back now. I shall be congratulating you shortly
