  1. im sure you can find it locally or if it is Canada only, at least an equivalent. This thing is one of my best accessories. http://reviews.canadiantire.ca/9045/1425455P/lagostina-lagostina-tuscan-collection-14-in-pizza-pan-reviews/reviews.htm
  2. Weber has a new stainless pan for veggies. I have an old version that was black. I will likely pick up the new weber one soon. I has a Lagostina pizza stone that is cast iron with an enamel bottom. I use it as a griddle on the KK and absolutely love it. I just won a set of grill grates that I will try out and see how they are but not 100% they are necessity. My best advice is get cooking and see what your needs require before you commit to buy anything. I have bought and sold a lot of things that I thought that I needed and never did. My style of BBQ is simple
  3. You will be fine. Keep it covered and wrapped in blankets and the hit bottles
  4. your goods are officially offloaded, and the NYK Theseus is about to take off to Oakland. Shouldn't be much longer for you now my friend!

    BBQ time

The 23 and 32 got to see double action today. Loaded the 23" with peach wood for smoking and slowly heated it to 250. Trimmed sides to St. Louis style and hit them with John Henry's peach and meat church honey hog hot. Loaded the 32 with corn, chicken mango sausage, and burgers. Lots of room. In fact the 32" is a grillers grill don't be afraid of the size if you are considering it. It is great for parties. Finished the ribs with blues hogs BBQ sauce. Unbelievable sauce not a huge fan of sauced ribs but did it for our guests.
  6. I have w shawarma recipe I posted on the guru a feed years back. It is one of my favourite meals this looks awesome
  7. I am cooking ribs right now and I under set my grill so that the temp doesn't get hotter than I want it to. It took a good 2 hours to settle in at 250. I could have rushed it but it's a journey not a race. So I let it get to 250 at its own time with a very small opening. This gave the ribs a long smoke time at low temps. I agree deflectors are not required with a KK. Add the bottom rack and put a piece of foil down and you will have the same results as using a deflector.
  8. Your KK flu is about to come to an end
  9. Awesome I figured that you would be watching that like a hawk.
  10. love it! your daughter has a monumental task ahead of her
  11. mine came from Hong Kong to Vancouver, then to a warehouse in Toronto where I arranged shipment. I am not too sure how it goes from the USA. Maybe Wilbur can chime in as he went through this. Once it hits land it will move quickly.
  12. I am still waiting patiently to hear what tile you picked
  13. In Canada I had a customs broker. He updated me when it cleared customs on route to warehouse. Mine arrived and spent almost 3 weeks in customs as my container was selected for secondary screening.
  14. The site that I use says 16 hours to port. I have seen this with one of my boats that ported in China. It had to wait it's turn to unload.
  15. I need to order this. Maybe I'll do that tonight
  16. thanks cschaaf. I learn something new each day
  17. that looks fantastic any word on when your KK will be arriving?
  18. Are there not two of them with a 23"? I had my 23" built without the gas port so mine only came with one. On my 32 there are 2 however.
  19. bam!! what did you end up getting with respect to tile?
  20. There should be two of them. One sits on the inside below the fire pit I front of the bottom dials. The second one to the left of the first deflector covering the fast port.
  21. Awesome buddy you will love it. I have the stainless insert and prefer it. It is more practical than all wood in my opinion. I would hold off on the cabinet until you decide on what you are doing with the second KK. Tiny fish ordered a 23" and then on second order he made the cabinet to fit his second KK. If you are confident that you will be adding a second KK in the future I would order the cabinet so that it will accommodate your next KK. So if it were me ordering knowing what you wanted, I would get a 23" KK with the left side teak side table and the cabinet designed to house both the 23 on left and 32 on the right. Then when you are ready you can order the 32 and right side table for the 32. Your accessories look solid. Baking stone is a must they are wonderful. As for CC, the deflector stone is included in the grill cost
  22. Any time frame yet on delivery. My guess is the delay was on packaging it up from SR cooking school
  23. Awesome review buddy. But more importantly where have you been?? i can honestly say that I took ownership in December so not a year yet, but I too echo everything that you have said
