Yes i was on the egg forum i have owned big green egg for many years. I had 2 larges took me awhile but both sold on craigslist you could do same when your ready if you choose to get rid of it .in the back of my mind secretly i may get the 32(my wife says no though lol) as well its a hell of a grill especially having the half grate

Thank goodness you were not hurt shelly that is main thing very scarry indeed .i use 1500w heat gun works like a charm also like what was said i wouldn't buy things like that at harbor frieight they may be cheap but not always good
