Just like me to speak quickly and use the wrong words. Let me clear the woods as they say, The basket has the best fit with the handles on the left and right side of the KK. When repositioning the basket with the handles north and south the basket doesn't seat well. It doesn't come fully down to rest on the refractory surface, instead it sits up approx. 1/2 to 1 inch above. I can squeeze it down but, I will be setting a groove in the refractory. If yours has this condition, I think just means that all things round aren't perfectly round. Take a tape measure and check the diameter in different spots. Good luck. No big thing it's just a chicken wing.

My basket on my 23 has the same issue, unable to turn for adjustment.

That's right, " Set it and forget it." Think I've heard that somewhere before.

I think it would be great for Huli Huli Chicken, easy to apply the sauce. Guys like power tools, one more for the tool box.

Now that's pretty. All the right fixins. Nothing I can see wrong with that roast. Maybe Santa will bring me a rotisserie for Xmas

It's a lot of fun, soon your husband will be asking if he can use it.

We had those bugs around here but, not in those numbers. Nice looking cook and pickled beets, yes.

Nice lookin meal looks like you can pick'em off the screen and start to eat. Got to get a rotisserie with those Octo forks, it looks like it makes a difference.

That looked so good it inspired me to put it on the grill now. Although I didn't have your spices I substituted some Sazon in place and have the veggies downunder.

I'm retired. Give me an idea and I'll give it a go. Next project down the line is a Dennis cabinet, but that'll require a trip to a specialty lumber yard and I know it's not cheap just for the lumber. This project cost under a $100

Thanks. Actually I covered the weather sides and the front is under the addition and away from the weather. I do like your setup, some sewing, grommets and those quick release fastners are well thought out.

Winter's coming and I wanted no issues with snow, ice and temp changes raining down on my investment. Made with poplar, a hard wood that takes paint well and I just happened to have a couple thousand board feet of it, so it was an easy decision. Cedar shingled roof and it has removable shelves if you wish to use it for storage. It will hold everything the KK came with and all my other grates and things that my other Kamados have and it wheels around quite easily. I had no need for a door but, I suppose you could hang a rod for a curtain or I was thinking of a small detachable shed roof you could hang on with brackets. So there it is, nothing fancy but, an alternative to a cover and another way to protect your KK.
