When I saw your cook I made a Linguica and black olive pizza for game time. Consider yourself fortunate because most areas around the country don't know or can't find this sausage. It's soooo good. An inspirational cook

Nice cook and wish I was there. I do love Portugese cooking, one of the reasons I visited the Azores. Many , many portugese in my area and the restaurants are traditional. That looks traditional to me and something worth trying. How about Shrimp Mozambique for a cook and Chicken Madiera if you like this type of cooking. Again that looked real good, love that stuff. Please excuse my spelling
  6. Have you ever sold something in a yard sale and then 3 months or so goes by and you say, " Now why did I sell that, sure could use it now. " Well, it's happened to me, I didn't like the feeling. I'm certainly not saying, hey your doing the wrong thing, it's down the road there will be a time you say, I sure could use it now. Can't keep all your toys, I guess.
  7. Good luck, a 32 big boy, you'll have fun with that. Use to live in Union, S.C. way back when. Take some pics of the arrival and action shots while cooking.
  8. Good choice of beef. If you could please, let us know what spices u used on both. Must have some Mex-flavor I'm thinking.
  9. HOPE all goes well with your friends son and they should love your tritip cook. Good lookin out.
  10. Good to have someone with a KK nearby. Are you set with moving that monster?
  11. That's a great cook too, I know it's pork but, " Where's the beef. " Did a little shrinking so to speak. Pretty picture and nice results.

    Sweet Boubon Jerky

London broil thick cut if that's familiar, 1.99/lb and lean. Sometime I use a Bottom round roast, it has some fat but, it is all in what u want to achieve.
  19. Pre-cooked...............that's even worse!!!!

    Sweet Boubon Jerky

Love Jerky and so do the dogs. When there is Jerky around in the frig I always have company. The KK is fantastic 180-190 degrees for 3 hrs, held temp like a rock. Smoked with a little chunk of hickory. Could have done more on the 23 but was my first attempt of jerky on the KK so I wasn't sure how much meat to cut up. Easy cook to do if your a fan of jerky
  21. Hi Toney. Don't think I've spoken to you but I noticed that you answered the post on tiles falling off and wanted to let you know that I was very hesitant about answering because, all the facts didn't add up.  I'll always try to help but I really got a funny feeling from this. Well anyhow, nice ta meet you. Wayne

  22. The crock pot renders the fat well enough but, it soaks in the grease and doesn't any smoke. No comparison to what your used to.
  23. That's a great big cook. yum
  24. The size makes me think was it Veal ? Well, if not it was small and I thought my recent cook was small at 9.8 lbs. Looks delish and although as some cooks may appear, I'm sure it was moist at the flat. Love FF yah, but they love me too, they stick to me like glue, who woulda knew. Still amazing the grates are sooo clean.
