  1. Curly, you doing okay? I had to ask because the clip DID go to the end. The marketer finally hung up on him. Oh, I thought they just cut it off.
  2. By the way, everyone please leave a welcome post to our newest member EquityCredit...he just joined us today and I'm sure Mr. Mabe would love to hear from him too
  3. Dang...is he Mormon? How many women folk does he have? Yeah, they will be talking about old yellar long after he's gone.
  4. Yeah, that is too funny I wanted to hear it all the way to the end
  5. Re: A BBQ Contest But do you WANT a BGE? Sure, you could whup the competition, hands down, with your classy cooker. But what would be the point, if your prize were an egg? I mean, better to give you a snow scraper, or something. You kidding...them eggs are great...and very portable . They ain't purdy like some tiled ceramic cookers I'm thinking of, but they do the job quite nicely and aint nearly as cummbersome. My big ole KK, nor my K are ever leaving my back porch unless Chubby allows them to be stole...and he's very aware of what comes off them babies...so he's right protective of 'em If I was to win one (and I'd have to do it on a gas grill, cause, like I said about the heavy things) I would ask for a small (maybe medium) so that I could take it on vacations. But I have no idear what they do in those competitions, nor do I want another hobby/pastime/obsession in my life. But I will be there meeting some great people (hopefully the famous Dizzy Pig team whose rub I use on about every cook) and to test out some great bbq. I can't wait. I looked at the list and 2 or 3 of the contests are 50 miles or so from me. Ummmmmummmmm Well, it snowed here a week ago, so that's prolly it for this decade...maybe some ice here and there, but we've had it with the snow. So don't need another scaper for a long long time
  6. They're having 50 competitions, in 50 different places, and giving away 50 BigGreenEggs. One of the competetions is in Union SC http://www.the50eggclub.com/
  7. Thank you! I thought it was a rather well-thought jab there
  8. With a new man...who loves you more than his new career path...now just move on...please
  9. Hmmmm, maybe male librarian should give male nurse a shout
  10. Oh, Curly, you're so sweet. :* He's worth it, I think. Just I hate cleaning and tidying. House doesn't have grubby dirt, just clutter. And I'd be happy if it were tidy, too. An uncluttered house is more restful. Just I hate doing it. It's a good exercise, I suppose. Problem is, it's an old house with limited closets. So everything has to have a place to live, or else it has to go. Friend has a practical suggestion. She says find out his intentions. Is he gonna move on in Rochester, and wave Sanny g'bye? If so, no cleaning!! If he's gonna try to make it work long distance, then some tidying is ok. lol Does the dude have any handy skills....like building drawers, and shelving and putting up stuff to help you organize? Or does he just lay around and eat all your groceries. My cousin is still available...and he'll be out in 3 mths or so.
  11. This dude is just starting to get on my nerves. Are you sure he's worth all this hassle?
  12. Naw, don't worry about it. $10.25 for 30lbs ain't bad...but when you add $12.10 per bag to it for shipping...it hurts a lot. That's a great deal for those closer to you though
  13. Bout time dawgy. There's prolly a whole lotta people that can't get thier coveted lump...that will buy it all up in a heartbeat.
  14. Are you saying onct I realize my lifelong dream of gynecologeeism I may not enjoy other stuff as much as now?
  15. You betcha! Showed him sale stuff' date=' and the stuff in various locations around, and even Clifford! He got "that" gleam in his eye. We all know that look. lol[/quote'] If you sell Clifford for Dennis, I think you get double bonus points...that was surely a terrible blunder on someones part
  16. Dang, I never heard of anyone cooking ribs for just 15-20 minutes...most folks cook ribs for 5-6 hours. A lot lower temp, of course, but it blows my mind that any ribs could be cooked like that I know venison is leaner...but still But hey, they look good , and if they taste good, then it must be working.
  17. Probably about a year and 1/2 ...so I won't ordering soon. Just lining things up man

Dude, if there ain't a recipe (with pics) in the recipe section, you are in a heap a trouble. Webmaster person, please disqualify him or sumpin.
  19. Re: HotStuff Charcoal I don't know how much it costs to ship a pallet of charcoal to South Carolina. I would have to ship it common carrier and their prices are normally higher than what I would like to pay. How many bags do you consider a pallet? I think we stack them 4 to a layer and seems we could put 4 layers on a pallet. What are you trying to do pry me away from my cooking and make me do some work? Well, I'm just trying to pry info out of you for the future. I'm set now with about 600 lbs of lump. I don't think the website even mentioned a price of the charcial.

  22. OK, I am very tired. I pulled on that prop about 300 times and had my wife in there with her foot on the gas....we finally got her started. The brown thing almost in the middle is the cabin and the log garage. And we are technically in the city limits....we can't even find the country folks We moved here from Atlanta...so I'm a real happy camper :D http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=17&ll ... 4&t=k&om=1
