GoFrogs91 Posted December 31, 2015 Report Posted December 31, 2015 Yum. Those tortillas look delicious! Could you taste the flavor of the braise? Benton
ckreef Posted December 31, 2015 Author Report Posted December 31, 2015 Yum. Those tortillas look delicious! Could you taste the flavor of the braise? Benton Absolutely you can taste it. My son hates when I do a wine braise but he eats it anyway. I also took all the liquid in the end and put it through a fat separator then reduced it down for a sauce. It's the dark brown liquid in the little white bowl in the picture. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT

ckreef Posted January 28, 2016 Author Report Posted January 28, 2016 (edited) I love how you make it all look delicious and sound so easy! Thanks Charles!TY here is a copy of what I posted about the cook on the Guru. It really was an easy mid week cook. I'm trying hard to made my mid week cooks easier so we don't eat so late. .......................................... Cooking on smaller kamados over the last few years I've had a lot of practice with timing. If my timing is way off I consider the cook a failure even if it tasted great. Potatoes on for 15 minutes, then put on the chicken for 30 minutes, after that I put the beans on for the final 20 minutes flipping occasionally(chicken also got 1 flip). Take the picture and Pull everything at the same time 65 minutes after the start. Charles - Prometheus 16.5", Cassiopeia 19" TT Edited January 28, 2016 by ckreef
