skreef
This is my One Pot Entry on the guru forum. A Shrimp and Wild Rice Soup with carrots, celery, and onions served with homemade crackers. I cooked my Entry on Three differnt grills..Komodo Kamado..Yakatory and Blackstone Pizza Oven. All my Ingredients Adding my veggies ingredients to my cream stock: I started marinating my Shrimp I kabobed the the Shrimp and put on the Yakatory grill. I then added my Shrimp and Rice Now time to make my cracker crust I also added Thyme to my Dough. Cracker crust is par baked I decided to shape my crackers I added grated Pecorino Ramano Cheese..first I buttered my crackers. I put the crackers back in the Pizza oven for crispness And here is my money shot This Entry was alot of work but I really enjoyed this cook.and the Flavors came together really good. Ckreef took some for lunch and thought it was really great the second go around and he said the crackers were the bomb by adding saying "the butter came thru even more"

ckreef
It was a really tasty cook. We weren't sure how the flavors would work but we both were very pleased with the outcome. She used my Cracker crust pizza dough and added thyme to it. It came out better than expected. I'll have to give her an A+ in the pizza 101 class but then again she had private lessons - LOL Only one problem I see with all this. Mrs skreef is getting good enough with the various grills that soon she might want to kick me to the curb and run away with all my grills - yikes!!! - LOL Edited August 26, 2015 by ckreef
